Update - Faster Loading

[p]Hellish Quart pre-alpha v.2025.11.17.1[/p][p][/p][p]OPTIMIZATION:[/p][p]- Heavy UI graphics now load from disk in realtime, which makes loading shorter[/p][p]- Some UI elements are now packed into atlases, saving memory and loading times [/p][p]- Textures now stream to save video memory on low-end hardware [/p][p]- Options are now integrated into the Main Menu level, which makes accessing them instant [/p][p]- General cleanup: got rid of references to characters on levels and scripts to avoid loading them into memory unless needed for an upcoming duel (except Story Mode - work in progress)[/p][p]FIX:[/p][p]- Marie, Marta: fixed an IK flinch when killing someone with a thrust in HEMA mode[/p][p]- Isabella: corrected trajectory of side combo animations[/p][p]- fixed some textures and sprites which size was not a power of 4 (the compression was broken)[/p][p]- fixed some jerky camera movement blends[/p][p]- fixed many minor issues[/p][p]TWEAK:[/p][p]- Jacek: his attack power no longer is modified by Stamina[/p][p]- Jacek: sword edge detector moved forward a bit to prevent detecting blade hits with the back edge[/p][p]- Connor: a bit better Idle to walk blending[/p][p]- Kalkstein: a bit more muscle power for better sword trajectories[/p][p][/p][p]Having technical problems after an update?[/p][p]Visit our Technical Help page[/p]

[p]A new fighter joins the roster — Sava, a Cossack warrior wielding both a saber and a kindjal. Deadly at close range and quick on his feet, Sava brings a new dual-weapon fighting style to Hellish Quart.
