We started to work on the Story mode.

While we are recording the "big" cutscenes, we want to present the core Story mode gameplay loop mechanics. A few of those small adventure mini-worlds will be available before we complete the main, cinematic story.

Those are, in essence, point and click adventures that lead to series of duels. An express-RPG instances. Each of those mini worlds are like pen-and-paper RPG short one-off sessions - with multiple possible outcomes and a potential reward for the player at the end. Each character will have one or more of those quests to complete.

The main story will also use this format of gamplay - but all the written text will be replaced by proper, voiced over 3d cutscenes.

Also - clothes customization! We are constructing systems to easily change clothes (and faces) on characters. It will be some time, until we obtain and 3d scan enough clothing, so you have plenty to choose from.

Update: Special Move Lists

Hellish Quart pre-alpha v. 2021.03.30.0

NEW:
- Special Move Lists for all characters (in Pause Menu)
- Practice vs. Player mode (infinite, wooden weapons)

TWEAK:
- Jacek, Barabasz, Laszlo: Long Guard attacks have longer startup phase, when they can't be cancelled
- Laszlo: longer cooldown when trying to spam Push Down Blade animation

FIX:
- Arenas Gallows, Meadow, Steppe, Dungeon, Snowy Hut: arena limits no longer physically block swords
- Laszlo: blood decals no longer show in No Blood mode

FIX:
- Fixed bug where you could spam Push Hand very fast with Marie and standarized Push Hand timings for all characters
- After Grab Break characters now dodge backwards to prevent spamming Grab, which sometimes led to characters passing each other for a moment

FIX:
- fixed bug where when Laszlo is selected, the visible name is Marie

TWEAK:
- Marie no more constantly repeats push and attack scheme, when in close range
