After a successful first edition in 2022, Square One Tetris Championship returns in 2023!

Square One is an invitational tournament that will gather the world’s best Tetris players and pit them against each other in the ultimate test of skill and grit. 26 invited players will join 6 qualifiers, 3 from community-led qualifiers which have already taken place, and 3 from the Last Chance Qualifier, being held this weekend. Players who have already qualified or been invited to Square One are not eligible to participate. Will you be one of the 32 elite Zone Battle players to participate?

Game mode - Zone Battle with default settings.
Bracket Format - Double Elimination. Seeding will be made using SR and perceived in game skill.

A major update to Tetris Effect: Connected arrives on February 22, 2023! The Winter 2023 update includes all new modes: Zone Marathon, Single-player Classic Score Attack, Endless Master Mode, and Endless Purify.

Details:

• Classic Score Attack - A single player version is now available in Effect Modes (NTSC/PAL Game Speed included)
  
• Zone Marathon - A version of Marathon Mode with the Zone mechanic
  
• Purify Mode - Endless is now an option in Purify Mode
  
• Master Mode - Endless is now an option in Master Mode
  

Enhance Community Developer Austin Bennett will be playing through the new Effect Modes at a high level and answering any questions!
