HOTFIX #2098

Howdy, a quick fix was released yesterday to address a couple of issues:
  • We started working on the Sound FX system, so many sound feedbacks are now finally available to everyone;
  • Activating a Leader while the Asset pick animation was still going now does not cause the game to get stuck;
  • A new soft-lock during the 2nd tutorial was finally fixed;
  • Fixed other AI errors related to various reported issues (WeakFamilyMember and FirstLevelValidationFail)
  • Fixed a situation where, during Production, it was possible to spend more Servants than those actually owned.

Thanks again for the many user reports you are sending - they help us work like a breeze!

HOTFIX #2076

Looks like our precious leaders Leonardo Da Vinci and Lorenzo de' Medici still needed some quick fixes. Thanks a lot to our great community for pointing that out immediately, so that we could patch it pronto!

Version 0.8 is a Majestic update!

Dear Lorenzo's friends, update 0.8 is here! It took us slightly more than we were originally planned, but we are glad to share a bunch of improvements with our favorite community:
  • Free navigation system: it is now possible to switch from every action slot to another without the need to press the X at the top.
  • Excommunications: there's now a clearer, more epic feedback for excommunications and their effects.
  • Action details reworked: an improved description when a card is selected better shows details of prices, effects etc.
  • Opponents Faith: since many of you requeste it, a small banner on the side of the Cathedral now shows easily where opponents are on their Faith track.
  • Icons review: many icons have been reworked to better recall the basic game iconography.
  • Price banners and colors review: we increased saturation to improve banners readability.

Version 0.8 was also a good occasion to introduce a couple of fixes around:
  • Leonardo Da Vinci no longer causes the game to get stuck upon usage.
  • Some weird behaviours related to Family Members placements on Harvest/Production buildings are now fixed.
  • Thanks to your user reports, we found many situations where the AI got stuck and caused errors. It still needs improvements in terms of general strategy, but it should cause less-to-none errors right now.
  • Removed the gold coin from the Council palace animation when the Privilege is taken through some other mean.
  • The bug tracking system has been improved under the hood to track more data, hopefully to help other unexpected behaviours in the future.

BUGFIX #1887

Hey Florentines, today's patch introduces some hot fixes for you:
  • Animations during Assets purchase now lock interaction to avoid glitches and following UI bugs.
  • It is no longer possible to add Servants during Harvests/Productions if no Servants are available.
  • 2nd Era Excommunication "Closed Marketplace" now works properly.
  • Some loose interactions during the Tutorial were fixed to avoid unwanted deadlocks.
  • The Architect discount icon has been fixed.
  • The quality/resolution of many icons has been enhanced to improve readability.

Patch 0.7.1848 / 1849 is here!

With this version get ready for a bunch of news, including:
  • A Bug reporting System has been added to help us during the development process. You can either manually report a bug from the pause menu, or let the system handle it whenever something goes wrong.
  • We implemented a localization system to be ready for translating to new languages! For testing purposes, aside of English, Italian is now available. Languages can be switched through Options inside the main menu.
  • We kept working on the user interface to make all papers, letters and assets detail more readable and organized. There's still a lot to do, but we hope you will appreciate the small steps :)
  • Cards granting bonus actiong (such as the Abbess) has been reworked once again, to hopefully crush every remaining bug during their usage.
  • Many other small improvements both on the AI and on the general game system (which, as always, you can read on our Trello page.
