The old lady dabbed her brush on the easel, carefully capturing the pregnant calm. As she painted, a small figure darted into her house, and she sighed. "You're late today. I thought you weren't coming."
"I'm here, aren't I? After all, I promised!" Lisa chirped cheerfully.
Theirs was a friendship forged through a mutual love of painting and stories. The old lady spent her last days sharing her many memories with her young friend, memories of amazing adventures that she had recorded with her brush strokes. After the old lady passed, Lisa decided to relive the stories she was told, and, as time passed, began making her own stories. She would use her paints to chronicle all that she sees, to pass on forevermore.
