Season 6 Launch Date & Hotfix | December 7

Updates to W40K: Inquisitor will be released. The updates will be applied automatically when your Steam client (in on-line mode) is restarted.

a new hotfix has just been released for Inquisitor and with that we closed Season of Judgement - Inquisitor's 5th Season. All seasonal characters have been merged into the non-Seasonal database. In case, you are wondering what happened to all your stuff, check the details below.

But that's not all! Even though Season 5 just ended, you will have only 7 days to get some rest, sort out your gear and prepare for the new objectives as Season of Escalation is on its way to PC, launching on December 14!

Besides, we included a few fixes and changes in today's update. Here is the details of the patch note:

Hotfix v2.7.0c

[h2]Balance[/h2]
  • Increased the drop rate of Combo Weapons and Sororitas-specific 2-handers for Battle Sister players
  • Halved the spread of the Full Auto skill of the Bolt Pistol & Chainsword combo
  • Increased the damage of the Plasma Pistol & Brazier's Scorched Earth skill by 20%
  • Reworked the Cabal Quest reward system: Players will continue to get weekly rewards, but if they do not accept them within 1 week, the previous reward will be overwritten

[h2]Fixed Bugs[/h2]
  • Fixed an issue with the walk, get-up, and the fall animations of the Sword + Pistol combo for the Battle Sister
  • Fixed an issue where the Construct Setup label did not appear on the Command Bridge in English language
  • Fixed a crash occurring on the Starmap

[h2]Seasonal Merge Details[/h2]

Seasonal characters will simply become non-seasonal, regular characters, so you will be able to keep playing with them. The items you have on your characters, stash, and inventory will be also transferred over to non-season. Seasonal items with special names and enchants will remain - you might find some use to their special enchants during upcoming events!

There are several Seasonal mechanics tied to the Seasonal Journey and the Objectives in it - those rewards tied to the Journey will not be carried over, such as the Store discount bonuses. However, the remaining Seasonal Shards that your character might have, albeit not dropping or craftable anymore, will be carried through into non-season.

Currencies like Favor, Credits, and Fate will be simply merged into non-season. It is time to buy all that extra stuff with the goods you have earned! Crafting materials such as Sparks of Glory will be merged as well. Speaking of crafting, your blueprint charges on Seasonal characters should add up to your non-seasonal charges. All your unlocked blueprints, and Inoculator unlocks should be carried over safely as well.

Aside of items and crafting, Campaign and assignment progress is going to be carried over as well, of course, along with Ordo and Influence unlocks. Your Heroic Deeds that you have unlocked on your Seasonal Inquisitor should now be unlocked on your regular characters. Heroic Deed progress should be carried over and added to your existing progress, so you may get some additional unlocks!

Tarot Card progress should work in a bit different way: Unlocked tarot cards will be carried over, but for the cards in progress, the player will receive the same amount of tarot card items instead. Tarot Seals will simply be carried over and merged into non-Season.

Your active missions should remain so, such as Intels and Void Crusades.

It is time to change up how you play our Action-RPG Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr. The reason is simple: this month you will be able to experience the entire game from a new perspective, with new tools and a stronger faith in the Emperor.



We’re proud to announce that a new class DLC is coming on November 28 on Steam, the Sororitas Class. As the name implies, this new Inquisitor comes with a Sisters of Battle background, bringing much needed support and a new approach to combat to the Inquisition.

Sororitas are known for their strong, unwavering faith, and this will translate into a new gameplay mechanic as well. Her Acts of Faith are unique empowering abilities, and she can even transform into an Embodied Saint to employ immensely powerful special attacks. In this state the player can cast Saintly Deeds until their Faith – a class-exclusive resource – depletes.



The Sororitas Inquisitor will wield new sanctified Imperial weaponry and armour, the loadout will depend on the three new subclasses – Sister Celestian, Sister Dominion and Sister Seraphim.

With burning conviction, the Sororitas Inquisitors will come and conquer the heretics and everything that stands in the way of the Imperium.



Please note, that WARHAMMER 40,000: INQUISITOR - MARTYR is required to play the Sororitas Class.

  • Fixed a Co-Op progression loss problem where players lost both the collected loot and the acquired XP when teleporting out of a mission
  • Developer comment: this bug appeared mostly at the end of Supreme missions in Void Crusades
  • Better handling of backend disconnects and reconnecting
  • Performance optimization of shop interactions (loading the shop, selling, buying items)
  • Fixed an issue where some players could not team up with their fellows on the Command Bridge and hence could not participate in the mission
  • Other, various optimizations for backend requests

  • Players can now skip the lines of story-related conversations during gameplay by clicking on the X button on the top-right corner of the NPC video message

Hotfix & a message from the Team

as some of you have reported, the recent backend transfer didn't go flawlessly. The server state we worked with during the transfer did not include the progress made on Sunday which unfortunately could not be recovered, despite our best efforts.

We would like to apologize for this experience and to make up for the losses, upon the next login you will be offered a gift as a token of our apology. Moreover, we are introducing a new Weekly Bonus that will last for two weeks and will grant the following effects:

+ 100% XP Bonus
+ 25% Influence Bonus
+ 25% Fate Bonus
+ 25% Loot Quality & Quantity Bonus


Our team will keep working on the reported problems and will also deal with the remaining performance issues in the upcoming period.

New Backend Up and Running - Servers are back

we're delighted to announce that the backend migration is now complete! Servers are now back up and you can continue where you left off. We double-checked the saved states during the process and everything should be in place, but in the rare case you find something went missing, let us know! Performance tweaks are in process so you might encounter some issues here in there but we will keep working on the emerging issue

If you took part in the Public Stress Test, don't forget to switch back to the Live version on Steam by right clicking the game and deselecting the Public Stress Test beta branch! We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who helped us testing the new backend. You all were of great help to the team!

Beside restoring the connection to the servers, we also released a patch, containing numerous bug fixes and some other changes. Check out the whole list below!

  • Fixed numerous sound issues regarding the music and other sound effects randomly cutting off mid-mission
  • Fixed an issue where the music would cut off after an in-game video cutscene
  • Fixed an issue where the Astral Blessing warp anomaly did not work correctly. It now applies the bonus damage only when the player is standing in the blessed area
  • Fixed an issue where the Maelstrom spell did not have any sound
  • Fixed an issue where the Warp Energy Redirection mastery for the Extermination spell did not work correctly
  • Fixed an issue where the Vulnerability mastery for the Maelstrom spell applied Warp vulnerability with an incorrect rate
  • Fixed an issue where the Enlarged area mastery for the Shockwave spell did not work
  • Fixed an issue where the Psychic Sequence perk did not stack the cooldown reduction values properly
  • Fixed an issue where the Psychic Sequence perk did not unlock immediately after completing the criteria for it
  • Updated spell durations or area values from masteries now correctly reflected on the GUI

  • Fixed an issue where the player would lose a random active Psyker blessing when applying blessings at a certain order
  • Fixed an issue where the "Thunder Hammer of Blindness" and the "Grenade Launcher of Disrespect" had multiple relic enchants on them
  • Fixed an issue where the Daemonic enchant "Damage from Bleed dot" did not work correctly
  • Fixed an issue where the Plasma Pistol's Piercing Strike skill could not hit horde enemies
  • Fixed an issue where the Omnissian Axe Beta's Cleave skill sometimes played an incorrect animation
  • Fixed an issue where the Radical perk did not give the correct amount of resource regeneration
  • Fixed an issue where the "+5% Supreme Critical Hit Chance and +10 Critical Hit Strength against Slowed, Shocked, Stunned enemies" enchant did not work

  • Fixed an issue where the System Influence column in the Mission Deployment was sorted by system name, not the Influence value
  • Fixed an issue where the Kastelan Robot(s) did not despawn after the Tech-Adept left the co-op session mid-mission
  • Fixed an issue where the "Crippling Blows" passive did not work with Psyker spells equipped with "Phase Through" or "Matter Displacement" masteries. You can no longer apply these two masteries at the same time for the same spell
  • Fixed an issue where the "Sort by Rarity" and "Sort by Level" buttons in the inventory could only sort one way
  • Added a buff & tooltip for the "Godlike_Minion_Damage_on_kill" enchant
  • Fixed an issue where the GUI did not show the correct number of maximum Psiloi Vivisectors/Combustors after applying the Mechasapient perk
  • Fixed an issue where the "Champion of the God Emperor" Crusader Heroic Deed was listed for other classes too
  • Numerous typo and string fixes in perks, heroic deeds and skilltrees

  • Heroic Deeds and Perks now exactly state the amounts needed to unlock them
  • Constructs are now teleported near the Tech-Adept if their distance gets too high or a cutscene is triggered
  • Suppression Damage Reduction's maximum value is now stated on the character page
  • The numbers are now colored everywhere in perk descriptions and passive skill descriptions
  • Added a "Reset to defaults" option to every tab in the Options menu, which resets only that specific tab's settings to the defaults

  • The Omnissian Axe Beta's Single Strike skill now has a Giant Killer tag
  • From now on all warp anomalies have an effect to all Psykers in the party (malevolent and benevolent too)
