Howdy! and happy valentine's day

We have been very quiet for a long time because we have been at full working on the game, but as right now there is a lack of information, I have decided to post this news to inform you about the progress and more things!

I mean, this is an informative post to announce the current status of the future update, possible release date and to see some of the new features that will come in it among which are:

Campaign mode, new items, Placeable NPC in levels...!




Yes, a campaign mode is coming, also come with new NPCs, cosmetics, quests, and more items, such as lava and so on.

The campaign modes are being worked on to allow for more than one campaign as the game receives new updates.

Campaign modes are being created with new level editor tools, which allow you to configure the behavior of the NPCs within it.
This means that everyone could create levels with the same quality that the campaign ones, I am sure you will surprise us in some way.

We will see improvements in the Lobby, and much more interaction with the environment, each building will have its functionality.

You can get skins for your character and weapons complete quests and progressing in the campaign mode.

Yes this may sound weird for this game, but they are just special items that you can get on to use different movement mechanics
This is in a very early stage, we plan to have these on this update, but it may delay a bit, if it does then it will come in a later patch for this update! just saying


[h2]Improved and deeper tutorials![/h2]
these new tutorials will become part of the campaign. and in them, you will learn both the basic gameplay and to edit levels plus some advanced tricks later.
these tutorials will introduce you to the game in a pretty smooth way



[h2]Estimated Time of Arrival[/h2]
All said, we still have a lot of work to do, and we are a very small team, we are working hard to get the game ready as soon as possible, but we wouldn't want the quality to go down, so we are taking our time to perfect it.
and our expected release date is around March.
please keep in mind that this date is approximate and that there could be a possibility of some delay, but we will do our best, we are working day and night to have something that many people will like!

0.7.2 BugFix

[h3]Fixed track problem where things were not tracking correctly after adding tracks after loading[/h3]

[h3]Fixed a bug that made moving items go far infinity and beyond when setting negative energy in a track, now negative energy does what should do[/h3]

[h3]Track modes has been disabled, now there is just Ping-Pong, until the other modes are ready[/h3]

This update brings so much movement to Hyperstacks


[h3]Whats new?[/h3]
  • 120hz (Quest2)

  • Borderlands-like outline effect (PC Only)

  • Links visual re-design

  • Motors:
    now you can control how much energy fluctuates in the systems
    this is useful for using with moving tracks, the output it gives is the track speed

  • Moving Tracks: they move the attached items over time

  • Blue Platforms without block

  • Player Detector: it detects the player when enters inside, it can only be seen from the editor

  • Link hidden system (now you can hide link lines)

  • Death barrier: so yes now you will die if you fall too low

  • New level selection interface

  • New lobby buildings, each has its own theme

  • the global illumination has been changed so now the level seems with more uniform colors and be

  • Lots of bug fixes, improvements, and optimizations!

Hyperstacks SOUND Update [APRIL FOOLS!]

​New revamped sounds for Hyperstacks


[h3]​Looks like Hyperstacks sounds were too robotic/futuristic.

In order to improve this, we made changes to almost all sounds in-game

so they can sound super realistic![/h3]

  • New login screen music and new sound effects for almost everything!

  • Also there have been fixed some bugs with lights and level testing:

  • ​Lights were not saving correctly their internal range values

  • LevelEditor Save&Play button was not saving the level and also was causing accidental publishing on test finish

  • The material of the laser receptor holographics was changed back to its original colors.

  • This is all for this patch! Update the game now![/h3]

Hyperstacks 0.6.11: The Light update patch!

  • This update is just a small patch that fix the annoying drag of the weapons when going at fast speeds or falling, now you can do aerial trickshots with the bow easier!

    But it also adds new things!

  • The new WIP lobby for everyone

  • Light Bridges for everyone

  • Fixed a bug that caused weapons not being cleared on levels with "Clear Player inventory on start" option enabled

  • You will not be able to upload a level if its name hasn't been modified or its empty

  • Lights! (Only for App Lab) 0.6.11

  • New 3RD Person Camera mode! (YOu can see it on Camera settings > Intelligent camera) The
    camera only works on PC since Quest can not Stream a 3rd person view

  • New More intuitive Level Goal that also let you finish a level skipping the voting, and also gives you a new voting option that is "Fav", making it better for sorting levels

  • Level shorting modes has been reduced to 3

  • Newer (show the newer ones)

  • Hot (Show the most active ones (Reddit like)) NEW (it will become the default shorting mode once its stable)

  • Best (Shows the most up-voted levels)

  • New filters available (Favorites) (Upvoted) You will be able to filter levels that you marked as favorite at the end of the level You will be able to filter levels that you upvoted at the end of the level

  • Now levels that you can not load (due using items from newer versions that you dont own yet) will appear as blocked, and the warper will not work

  • SideQuest and "Free" versions will start transiting into a demo slowly, currently lights are not available in Demo and neither the levels using lights, now there will appear a lock, locking the level

  • New Graphics setting, this is the "LIght mode" it let you chose between Pixel Lighting and Vertex lighting, By default its Pixel ligting, its more performant for quest This setting is only for lights, it changes between high but slower and low but faster quality lights

  • Warper: Its the big teleporter in the middle of the level, once you select a level it turns on and you have to enter in The Player Spawner has also been changed to match with the warper

  • Other small bug fixes
