0.59.0d Hotfix

We will roll out a quick maintenance-free update, and it will be applied for games starting after 23:00 PM (PT).

*Some changes may not be applied to tooltips or Practice modes.We're making adjustments to data that ended up with results that are way too contrary from our statistical standards. To deal with issues as soon as possible, we decided to take a subtle approach by changing numbers.

Windy here to shed some light on our current bug situation and hotfix patches.

We want to first state that we’re deeply sorry about the ‘postpone’ bug that’s been happening since the last patch. This bug is currently being tracked and it seems like we are very close to finding a fix. The fix will require some QA testing due to side effects that may happen if we push the fix.

However due to reasons such as the finalization of Cobalt Protocol, our system is currently on a complete source code freeze (Basically it’s hard for us to change anything at all). This makes it hard for us to QA test stuff let alone change anything code related.

This also branches into our current hotfixes as well. As said in the dev stream, it takes a long time for us to make code changes to character skills (6 weeks or more) and we usually take a more subtle approach such as number changes to address immediate issues. (Skill damage for skills are sometimes exceptions due to it requiring code changes) The freeze forces us more into a position that certain changes are delayed further.

Taking all this into consideration, it may be a slow week compared to others and we deeply apologize for all the current issues. We’ll try our best to address immediate balance issues for now (Another data hotfix is scheduled for tomorrow) and will make sure that we can address the issue above by our next patch on June 9th.

Ranked Server Schedule Update (North America)

Hello everyone!

Due to additional community feedback, Squad Ranked is making its return!

The ranked server times will be changed to the following:

The season has just started and it’s time to QUEUE RANKED!

*We will continue monitoring the servers' activity so have in mind that this schedule is still subject to change

0.59.0a Hotfix

The 0.59.0a Hotfix is being pushed to servers starting from 11:00 PM (PT).

The hotfix will require both a client update and server distribution.

Please restart the client to receive the update.
