Augment System Introduction - Day 7!

Last but certainly not least, we have our final Augments.

Let's begin our final stroll through the Augments.



First up is the Havoc Sub Augment, Quench.

This augment increases damage dealt to animals and androids and heals for a certain amount of the damage.

Wild Animals, Wickeline and the Alpha/Omega bros sometimes pack too big of a punch for some test subjects to handle. Quench your HP to heal off of animals while looting or in clutch situations while you're in combat with one of the big scary neutral androids!



Next one up is a Core Fortification Augment, Diamond Shard. When you have Diamond Shard, Immobilizing an enemy player increases your Defense based on your current level.

After some time, the buff expires and deals skill damage in an area around you, slowing enemies hit.

Not only does the augment provide defensive stats, but also equips you with some tools to deal damage and CC enemies. Offensive or Defensive, pick your poison.



Our very last augment of the reveal will be the Support Core augment Amplification Drone.

Using your ultimate summons an Amplification Drone that follows you around.
The drone increases Movement Speed and Skill Amplification of you and your allies based on your level.

You'll have an even better time initiating fights with your ultimate. Just like, don't run too far away from your allies. They benefit from the buffs, too!

Keep your enemies close but your friends closer. So you can boost them.

Alright! This concludes the final chapter of our Augment reveal for Season 4. What're you most excited for?

These augments are just a small look of what is actually coming to Season 4, so keep an eye out for more information as we approach the preseason! You can also check out the Dev Letter that was posted earlier this week on Steam or the official Eternal Return website.

We're going to be adjusting Augments a bit, namely the balance of them, and more will be added in the future as well! We hope you enjoyed looking at the cool new features and that you're excited to try all of them in out in-game!!!

Augment System Introduction - Day 6!

Hello again gang. Aesop here with another look into some Havoc augments.



Today we're going to take a look at the 3 new augments: a core augment, Frailty Infliction, and two sub augments: Dismantle Goliath and Vengeance.



The newest Havoc core augment is Frailty Infliction. With Frailty Infliction, your 3rd basic attack or skill against the same enemy within a few seconds deals both true damage and reduces their defense based on your level. (This excludes weapon or item skills. Multi-hit effects only grant 1 stack. Thankfully. Could you imagine assault rifle Aya with this??)

Stack some Frailty Infliction, especially in extended fights, and you'll be doing some real good damage.

Excited to test this out eh? Who do you think it'll be best on?



Next up we have the sub trait, Dismantle Goliath.

Test subjects with this augment deal extra damage to targets with more Max HP than them. You'll also deal more damage based on the actual HP difference. More max HP, more damage.



The last of the day is Vengeance.
With Vengeance, you'll deal more damage in safe zones after final restricted areas are activated.

It seems simple and situational, but this might just help you turn your last stand in your favor!

That leaves us with only one remaining reveal. We'll have a look into all the categories for the next one.

Asia 2 (Hong Kong) Server Closure

Hello everyone. Aesop here.
After looking into the data over the past few months regarding Asia 2 server (Hong Kong), we've come to the decision to close the server on October 28th after the maintenance.

Many of the players that were playing on Asia 2 were capable of playing on Asia 1 with a similar, or slightly worse, ping, so they did just that.

We'll be doing more research into finding a more suitable server for all our players in the future.

We are truly sorry for any inconvenience.

In the meantime, we're doing our best to improve input lag and other things to help players that play on servers with higher ping.

Augment System Introduction - Day 5!

Hello gamers, Aesop here with another Augment reveal. Had enough yet?



Today will be our second look into the Fortification category. More defense comin' right at you.



Core augment Oblivion Can Wait reduces Basic Attack damage against you as your HP gets lower.

If your HP is below 50%, the amount of damage reduced is multiplied and reflected to the inflictor as Cellular Damage.

A big fat chef getting fed and taking advantage of this will probably be pretty scary...



Next up, Embolden. Embolden increases your defense after gaining a shield from a skill or being healed by a skill.

Like shielding? Like healing? You might like Embolden.



Last up, we've got Reinforced Armor. This one increases the effectiveness of Damage Reduction stats on your items by 30%.
For example, if you have an item with +10 Skill Damage Reduction or Defense from Basic Attacks. That'll be increased to +13 with the augment.

It might not feel like much but a small boost can go a long way. The sturdy and simple feeling of the Reinforced Armor may be the perfect representation of the tank role as a whole.
