…and just as the name suggests, this forest-filled and plant-packed bag of wonders includes both backgrounds and avatars representing various iconic forests of the world, as well as the denizens that dwell within. For example, you’ll be able to explore the Boreal Forest - haven amidst the harsh northern frosts and home to the Sable, or take a trip to red-hot Africa, where you'll encounter the long-necked Giraffe in a Baobab Forest full of massive trees.

But that’s just a part of what you’ll be able to find hiding in the thicket. The pack contains 6 forest backgrounds and 6 thematic player portraits featuring all kinds of beautiful animals, one for each of the new backdrops. Here’s the full list of what’s included:

Today, we've got one short announcement that we couldn't wait to share with you for some time now. This is something for all of the magpies among you who love to collect things and have a sweet spot for collections of physical games. As you probably already guessed from both the title and the header image...



For this, we've partnered with Merge Games, a company known for releasing great games, both physical and digital. With their help, we'll be able to bring the feathery fun Wingspan offers to the owners of Nintendo's hybrid console - the Nintendo Switch.

This bird is no small sparrow, too! We've packed the box full of content - Wingspan: Special Edition will include the following:
- Wingspan Digital
- European Expansion
- Oceania Expansion
- Seasonal Decorative Pack

A new hotfix is flying your way!

In this one, we're taking care of several issues with bird powers, encouraging a few birds to fully show their feathers by fixing their animations and more.
Also, joining Online matches is now improved.

The hotfix is now available on Steam!

Check out the changelog below:

• Fix for nectar appearing in some bird powers when playing without Oceania Expansion.
  
• Fix for Turkey Vulture being triggered by Sacred Kingfisher.
  
• Fix for players not being able to pay with cached seed while using Kea's power or Grassland bonus conversions.
  
• Fixed several birds' animations.
  
• Fix for instances of online matches showing two players the same starting hand
  
• Online matches will now assign joining players to their seats in the correct order.

Our servers are now back up and running!

You can now access the Online mode and create new games. Unfortunately, fixing the problem took its toll, and games started before yesterday’s incident were deleted. We are deeply sorry for this, but it was unavoidable.

We are still observing the server's behavior. We feel rather optimistic about it, but we want you to know there’s still a risk of an issue. We hope it will remain stable, but we stay alert.

Right now we’re keeping in touch with our online service provider to work out this situation and prevent such events in the future.

Thank you for your patience and for staying with us. We are very grateful for all your support, especially in moments like this one. We're working hard to provide you with the best online experience. Please rest assured that we’ll do our best to make it happen.
