• Fix for a card not returning to the player's hand and locking the discard slot when undoing a Forest or Grassland bonus conversion.
  
• Fix for Round End and Game End bird powers not activating in the overview.
  
• Fix for birds played on two slots not giving the player the choice to play them on one or two slots.
  
• Fix for Rufous-Banded Honeyeater not activating Spangled Drongo's power.
  
• Fix for Magpie-Lark returning discarded eggs at the end of power activation.

[h2]Happy Wingspan Anniversary![/h2]

It’s hard to believe that our digital adaptation of Wingspan is already four years old!
We would like to thank you for all the love and support we’ve been receiving from you through all these years. Your feedback means the world to us and it truly inspires us to make more great games for you!

Since the premiere of the base Wingspan game in September 2020, we have released two main expansions - European and Oceania, and two decorative packs - Seasonal Decorative Pack and Woodland Wonders Decorative Pack. We have started with Steam and made it to GoG, mobiles, and with the upcoming release on PlayStation on October 11th, Wingspan will be available on every major console.

Our team, which originally consisted of seven people, has also grown significantly. We are so proud of our 26 brilliant and talented teammates, 16 of which are currently taking care of Wingspan in many different ways. We couldn't have done this if it wasn't for your support and love for the game.

To celebrate this lovely occasion we have prepared a special something for you, dear Birders - a unique Wingspan Anniversary Background!

[h3]It will be available for you to enjoy from September 10th to September 24th.[/h3]


Speaking of feedback, we also have a small request for you.

1. Fix for bird powers incorrectly counting eggs to lay on birds with a specific nest type.
   
2. Fix for Goldcrest returning a discarded card to the player's hand.
   
3. Fix for "You don't have enough eggs" pop-ups incorrectly showing up.
   
4. Fix for AI freezing on activation of Common Little Bittern or Squacco Heron.
   
5. Fix for missing characters in Korean, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

Birders!
A new patch is flying your way!
In this update, we introduce a couple of new features and a handful of bug fixes to improve Wingspan and bring you the best experience we can.

A new feature landed in the main menu - the News! From now on you will find there all the crucial updates about patches, upcoming online maintenance works, new game content, and more! So keep your eyes peeled for a shiny feather in the main menu meaning a fresh announcement awaits!



We also improved the bird tray! From now on, when you draw cards from the bird tray and then activate a bird power, allowing you to draw again from the tray, you will see the slots you took cards from are shown as empty.

• "News" section added - game news and updates are now accessible through the game's main menu.
  
• Empty slots on the bird tray are now visually represented when a power using them is activated.
  
• Fix for Eurasian Collared-Dove and Common Starling not tucking cards when using nectar as an option to discard.
  
• Fix for House Wren's power letting players to play a bird in an incorrect habitat.
  
• Kakapo's power will now inform players that the bonus card deck is empty.
  
• Minor power fixes for Pukeko, Kea, Greater Flamingo, Common Chaffinch, and Common Chiffchaff.
  
• Mac: Fix for empty tooltips appearing on some devices.
  
• Mac: Fix for the game freezing when switching between tabs on MACs.
