Starstruck has been selected as one of 35 games for this year's AdventureX digital exhibition, a Steam event starting next week, running Mon 4 - 11 November 2024!

Save & Sound AdventureX will be happening concurrently next week, during which time Starstruck will be on sale for 20% off.

I've also updated the demo for both of these events. You can download the demo by clicking the "Download Demo" button on the Steam page.

AdventureX will run for 7 days and features both past exhibitors and the 2024 selection. Over 140 games total, on sale and/or with a playable demo!

I'm happy to announce that Starstruck will be at Save & Sound starting November 4th!

Save & Sound is an online music festival with sales and demos on Steam. Come celebrate headbanging soundtracks as well as unique implementations of music and audio in games.

Starstruck will be participating in the festival with exclusive behind-the-scenes footage from when we were recording some of the game's soundtrack live!

Version 20240922.4 of Starstruck: Hands of Time is now live on Steam.

Changes:

• Made the text speed framerate independent
  
• Fixed a bug that soft-locked the game if you completed the trash can quest on the train platform
  
• Fixed a bug that made Dawn positioned incorrectly under certain circumstances while playing as Edwin during the day
  
• Fixed a bug that allowed some forbidden names to be used while logging in
  
• Fixed some other visual issues

I've just updated the game to add...

That's right, you can now play the game in 2K and 4K resolutions!

I also fixed some minor bugs that you all have reported. Thanks for the detailed bug reports, everyone!

• Enabled support for resolutions up to 4K (please note that some visible banding and frame drops may currently occur at higher resolutions, depending on your PC)
  
• Fixed a bug that soft-locked the game if you checked a mailbox while mail is being delivered
  
• Fixed a bug that could soft-lock the game if certain custom mapping settings were used
  
• Fixed a bug that prevented some achievements related to high scores from being granted
  
• Fixed a bug that granted a certain achievement erroneously if you failed the last song
  
• Fixed a bug that could show a notification icon on the desktop when it shouldn't appear
  
• Fixed a bug that could cause a certain screen transition to never complete if a character is using their guitar
  
• Fixed a visual bug that happened if you failed to dodge certain attacks in the rhythm gameplay
  
• Fixed some typos

I've temporarily reverted the update in response to this bug report and am now looking into it.
