5/16 Scheduled Maintenance Announcement



[h2]The scheduled maintenance will occur during the following period:[/h2]

[h3]From 5/16/2023 (Tue) 7:00 PM (PDT) to 5/17/2023 (Wed) 1:00 AM (PDT)[/h3]

*Please do not connect to the game servers until the end of maintenance is announced.

*Please note that the availability of Weekly Tasks and Limited-time Tasks that end at 8:00 PM (PDT) on the day of scheduled maintenance will end at the start of scheduled maintenance.

*Please note that if the 24 hour period after a Character Deletion Request passes during the maintenance, the character will be deleted.

*Characters that have completed the “Application for Ship Transfer During Scheduled Maintenance” will be transferred. AC will not be consumed until the Ship Transfer is complete.

*Ship Transfer applications will be processed according to the order in which they were submitted. However, some Ship Transfers may be postponed until the next Scheduled Maintenance if the number of submitted applications is excessive.

*If you do not have enough AC at the beginning of the Scheduled Maintenance, Ship Transfer will not occur, even if you purchase AC during the Scheduled Maintenance.

5/10 End of Scheduled Maintenance Announcement


[h3]The scheduled maintenance that started on 5/9/2023 (Tue) at 7:00 PM (PDT) ended on 5/10/2023 (Wed) at 1:00 AM (PDT).[/h3]

The version number on the bottom right of the title screen should still be Ver.7.2001.1.

  • Issue where a message will sometimes appear when logging in, stating that the player has unused Seasonal Points remaining from the previous Seasonal Event (Added on 5/10/2023 at 3:30 AM (PDT))
We are working to fix the above issue in a future update.

[h3]Things addressed during maintenance[/h3]
  • Along with the scheduled maintenance, the expiration of Premium Sets, Extended Storage 1-6, Material Storage, Personal Shop usage, PSO2 Personal Quarters usage, Max Orders Received Limit Expansion, and Bonus Keys will be extended by 6 hours.

    *The expiration for the above items expiring before the end of this scheduled maintenance has been extended by 6 hours from the original expiration.

  • Characters that completed the application for Ship Transfer before the beginning of the scheduled maintenance have been transferred.

    *Ship transfers during scheduled maintenance are processed in the order that they are received. There is a limit to the number of transfers that can be performed during each maintenance, and if the maximum number of applications is reached, applications will be rolled over to the next scheduled maintenance.

    *For more details on Ship Transfers, such as the requirements, please check here.

  • When logging into PSO2 Blocks, each character’s location will be set to the Gate Area.

    *Characters may be moved to the Bridge depending on their progress in the story.

Advanced notice of the release of paid Level and Story Boost features

[h3]We are planning to provide paid features in the update on 6/7/2023 (Wed) (PDT) that enable players to raise their class levels or advance their Story Progress instantly.
[/h3]

The purpose of these features is to support those who are just starting or returning to the game and want to catch up to and socialize with other players as well as access new content.
Moreover, we believe it will also help players who wish to level additional characters progress though the Main Story in a more efficient manner.

See below for preliminary introductions to each new feature.

[hr][/hr][h3]NGS Story Progress Tickets[/h3]
This item can be used to skip through the Main Story to the latest chapter at the time of use.
  • The selected Main Class at the time of item use will get the EXP needed to reach the recommended class level to play the latest chapter.
  • Purchase limit: none

[hr][/hr][h3]Class Level 70 & Equipment Set[/h3]
This item raises the selected Main Class level to 70 and provides one weapon from each weapon category available to the selected class as well as 3 pieces of armor.
  • Equipment items will be set to increase the character’s Battle Power to the amount they need to play the latest content as of 6/7/2023 (Wed) (PDT).
  • Purchase limit: 1 for each class on each character.
  • Items will be delivered to the OP Team Storage.

[hr][/hr][h3]NGS Ver.1 All Trainia Explored[/h3]
This item sets the status of all Cocoons and Towers available as of 6/7/2023 (Wed) (PDT) to “completed” so that players can acquire the Skill Points from the first clear reward.
  • If there are Cocoons or Towers you’ve already completed, you will not receive the first clear reward Skill Points again.
  • Purchase limit: 1 per account.

Game Data for PSO2 to be released as free DLC on 6/7

[h3]Following the update on 6/7/2023 (Wed) (PDT), we plan to release the data for PSO2 as a separate DLC (free of charge) for Xbox One, the MS Store, Steam, and the Epic Games Store versions of NGS.[/h3]

The data for PSO2 will no longer be included in the main data download for NGS after this update. Those who wish to play in PSO2 Blocks or play certain Music Discs that require data from PSO2, please download the PSO2 DLC from your respective platform's store.

*This also applies to players who had been playing NGS prior to the update on 6/7/2023 (Wed) (PDT).
