AC & FUN SCRATCH TICKETS: WEYLAND WARRIORS

You’ve proved you’re no pansy, but your wardrobe could probably use some more durable layering pieces. Fortunately, the new AC Scratch Weyland Warriors will be invading Scratch Ticket Terminals near you on October 28th!

With a motto like “Death to the weak, life to the strong,” it’s necessary that the clothing used by the people of Weyland bear up under hard use. That’s why ARKS HQ thought it would be a great idea to introduce it to ARKS Operatives, in the next AC Scratch collection WEYLAND WARRIORS! The country that likes to fight, just for the sake of fighting, has produced some durable leather layering pieces that’ll have you covered in inclement weather as well as protect you from abrasions received on the field of battle. Once you’re ready to get cleaned up, check out the more detailed pieces with feathers and embroidery – which are sure to make you stand out from the crowd. HALLOWEEN IN PSO2!

“Boo!” to you, from PSO2! We didn’t want Arks going Personal Quarters door to Personal Quarters door and possibly disturbing tired operatives, so we figured we’d throw our own Halloween Event!

Welcome to a Phantasy Star Halloween, Arks! After visiting Earth during previous quests, ARKS has decided to celebrate a beloved holiday of the inhabitants of Earth, which led to the HALLOWEEN EVENT! There’ll be candy-themed weapons and other fun things to find and explore. The new Urgent Quest TRICK OR TREAT!, the introduction of the Expedition BEWITCHED WOODS, costumed Rappys and Emperappys, decked-out Xia, and more, await operatives of Fleet Oracle! Check out the individual sections below to learn more about each facet of the Halloween Event!

[h2]DÉCOR THEME: SPOOK-TOBER![/h2]
Your ship’s Gateway Area has been decked out in Halloween-themed decorations, so that operatives are kept in the Halloween-spirit while dancing, showing off costumes, and of course, accepting Quests from the Quest Counter. For those who spend more time in the Shopping Plaza, pumpkins and autumnal-themed items have been put on display. Please refrain from carving any pumpkins, however.

[h2]PARTY CRASHERS[/h2]
In the limited-time Urgent Quest, TRICK OR TREAT, you’ll need to help clear out an area on Lillipa that was to be a party venue for Arks. However, rampaging Falspawn and Automata apparently decided to crash the party, and ARKS HQ needs 8 operatives to take on the role of bouncer (role, not class) to eject the unwelcome guests. The festival was going to include the use of Turrets and Energy Tanks (don’t ask how) so the presence of these should be helpful in clearing out the interlopers. Those of you who come wearing something special will be eligible for a PSE OUTFIT BONUS EFFECT! This boost will net operatives increased EXP gain as well as an increased rare item drop rate for the duration of their current instance of Trick or Treat! So before heading to the Quest Counter, check to see if you have any of the items in this article!

Who doesn’t love Bingo when there are prizes up for grabs?! Probably not Arks, which is good, because they’ll be able to access the HALLOWEEN 2020 BINGO card in the Halloween Event. As you take on quests, you’ll be informed when you’ve completed a task and the Bingo square number will be briefly displayed at the bottom of your screen. Your ARKS Bingo Card can be accessed through the main menu, then selecting “Current Events” and “ARKS Bingo Card.” To view what tasks you have yet to complete, click on the name of the ARKS Bingo Card–in this case “Halloween 2020 Bingo”–and select “View Details.” The tab that displays by default is named “View Bingo Card,” and this is where you can view remaining squares to be completed. The other Tab is named “Bingo Completion Reward” and this is where you view what rewards you have yet to receive. Finally, the number of times you get a “BINGO” –all squares completed in a straight line, may or may not include the “Free” space in the middle– may qualify you for one of the rewards listed below!

Ever fancy a walk in the woods, at night? If so, then check out the spooky new Expedition, Bewitched Woods, which fits perfectly with the Halloween theme. A massive, winding forest has appeared on Omega and it’s up to you (and up to 11 other operatives) to chart its paths and determine its hazards. Minotaurqz, Omega Salamanders, Omega Dark Falz, and others are hiding in the gnarled trees, so beware of potential ambushes. This Expedition isn’t all risk and no reward though, as the items these enemies have upon their persons are often of great value; items like the CHAOS MALOSSISTONE (used in Zig products for Supernatural weapons), for instance. ARKS HQ has mandated that in order to venture into these frightful woods, you’ll need to be at least level 55 and have cleared a particular Client Order.
