Void Crew at Copenhagen Gaming Week: Highlights
Hey ectypes!
As you all know, last weekend (12. - 14. January) the Hutlihut Games team attended Copenhagen Gaming Week. We had a small booth in the Indie Showcase area, and one goal: spread the word of Metem and let more people know about Void Crew!

V for Void Crew!

And well... it was a success! We had people queued up to try Void Crew, and the team got a lot of nice feedback from them. Meeting people in person and watching their reactions while playing was amazing. We definitely want to repeat the experience.

New generations are coming in strong

We had ectypes of all ages playing Void Crew, including younger kids! And let me tell you... kids are impressive. They navigate the game as if it was the easiest thing in the world. We did feel a bit old...

The Mandalorian visited the booth

Yes, you read it right. Mando approves of Void Crew. This is the way.

Tech Talk - Void Crew: Simple Buttons, Complex Systems

On top of all the fun of helping people know Void Crew, we also got to give a 20 minutes tech talk! Our Lead Engineer Kristijonas, and our Game Engineer Javier got to dive into the tech used by most of our interaction systems, which was originally created as a solution to creating scalable hookups to buttons and their associated results.

We recorded the talk, and is now available on our Youtube channel. We recommend watching if you're interested in the tech aspect of Void Crew, or indie game development in general!

Thanks to all of you that came around, said hi and played a bit of Void Crew. The community (both new members and the ones that have been here for a while) is what moves us to make Void Crew the best possible experience.

We hope to see you in other events!

With all the love from Metem,
The Hutlihut team
