[h2]A heroic journey to achieve[/h2]

Get to know Jesse Rentier, the young and skilled vampire slayer you’ll incarnate in Evil West. Star agent of the Rentier Institute, a secret monster-hunting organization led by his father and many generations of Rentier before him, he’ll have to take the action into his own hands after a deadly vampiric conspiracy emerges from the darkness and wipes out the Institute.
With the help of Edgar Gravenor, another survivor from the Rentier Institute, he’ll have to battle fierce foes and demystify the conspiracy, while rebuilding the organization and becoming the leader it needs.



[h2]A well-equipped gunslinger slaying monstrosities with deadly style[/h2]

To reach his goal, Jesse will explore every corner of the Wild West, looking for new Institute members and valuable leads on the conspiracy, taking money from abandoned chests and corpses and growing his arsenal of weapons all the while. Armed with both old-fashioned firearms and advanced technology such as the lightning-fuelled Rentier Gauntlet, combine Jesse’s weapons and tools to your liking, each of them coming with its own skill tree for customized upgrades. Then take part in explosive combat encounters with your own mix of powerful ranged attacks and devastating melee combos.

Evil West is a game you're going to be hearing about a lot in the coming months, some might even say it could be your favourite action game of 2022. The Flying Wild Hog third-person shooter-meets-action-game dropped a lengthy new gameplay trailer.

This is the the second one of those we got to see this summer, and it looks even better. Though the focus remains squarely on the action, this new footage does offer a deeper dive into the narrative and a look at some of the characters.

Evil West takes place in an alternate history version of the Wild West. The trailer shows that the events of the game align with Lincoln's presidency, which is a nice touch. We get to see the cowboy protagonist visit the HQ of the secret vampire-hunting corps he works for.

Discover a cowboys-meet-historical-figures-meet-gothic-horror world of corrupted politics and covered-up vampire situations within which young gunslinger Jesse Rentier and his father’s vampire-hunting organization, the Rentier Institute, play a central part.

Then plunge into the heat of the action as the Rentier Institute experiences a major crisis!
