Freshly Frosted News

Hey everyone!

I'm really excited to let you all know that Freshly Frosted is launching this Friday, June 10th, at midnight PDT!



Freshly Frosted started as a game jam game in 2019 on Train Jam and since then it has grown into a beautiful and chill puzzle game. We've been working hard to get it ready for you and we're so excited to release it soon!

If you know me, you know I love making puzzle games. I've poured a lot of love into the 144 puzzles in Freshly Frosted and I hope you take the time to check it out.

We're super excited to announce that Freshly Frosted has a live demo as a part of the Cerebral Puzzle Showcase! You may be familiar with the donuts, but this demo will introduce you to new features, a soothing voice over narrative, updated graphics, and more!

We've been working hard to get Freshly Frosted buttoned up and polished for release (soon 👀) and I'm very excited to say that all 144 puzzles are now complete!

When I first started designing puzzles, I knew I wanted there to be a dozen dozen to fit with the donut theme. Designing 144 unique puzzles with different mechanics is no small task! But over the past two years I've been refining and testing the puzzles to make sure they're not too hard and that there is a gradual progression of difficulty through each of the 12 boxes.



I know you're gonna love working your way through each of the puzzles and seeing the fun different donut shapes and mechanics we've lovingly crafted. You won't have to wait long for more news about Freshly Frosted!

To celebrate the first weekend of the Seattle Indies Expo, we've released a brand new demo of Freshly Frosted that you can try right now to get a taste of this sugary, puzzley goodness! Freshly Frosted was a 2019 and 2020 SIX nominee and we're excited to be celebrating with them virtually this year!
