Dream Flash News

A small update for Dream Flash has been released. Demo 10.1 includes balancing changes and improvements to all 75 class items that are in the game, also includes new art for these items.

The next update for Dream Flash will be 10.5, which will include new art for helping familiars and other items. It will also include a variety of quality of life improvements for the game. This update should come out in March and will be soon followed by demo 11 hopefully in April.

Dream Flash Demo 10 is now out! This comes with new bosses to fight, new items to collect, and new weapons to play around with. This update also revamps all of the weapon art and balance, in addition to boss bullet art.

Demo 10 Change Log

Demo 10.5 is going to be the next update. This time I will focus on item art and balance, expect most of these to be tweaked in some form. It will also come with some new content and a lot of general improvements. After that will be demo 11, which I plan on being a major content update that will make the game feel much more distinct.

Dream Flash demo 9.5 is out now! All of the boss art has been completely remade to fit the style of the game. This is going to the first of many updates that focus on making the game look and feel much better.

In addition to this all of the bosses have had their behavior tweaked. Many of them have had their champion versions modified to be more unique. Attack patterns that were previously unappealing to look and play with have been made smoother and distinguished.

Demo 10 will be the next update. This demo will include new content such as new bosses, items, and weapons. In addition to this I will be rebalancing the game and adding even more new and improved art. I hope to get the next demo out by the end of the year.

Dream Flash has had several updates fixing bugs and adding certain quality of life features. The most notable thing is that the game engine has been upgraded from Game Maker Studio to Game Maker Studio 2. This will impact performance in a positive way and has improved the quality of things like the music.

Demo 9.2.2 + Other Versions Change Log

I am also happy to report that the next update to Dream Flash is relatively close. Demo 9.5 is going to be the first of many visual focused updates. My goal is for the game to look close to the level of quality I am striving for by the end of phase 2 of development (Demos 9-15). Demo 9.5 will be focusing on the bosses this time around, giving them redesigns and improved attack patterns. Every boss will not only look different but feel different as well. The demo should be out in 3 weeks or so. Thank you for being patient!

I hope you all enjoy demo 9. I spent a buttload of time working on it and thinking about the future of this game. The next major update will mainly be polishing and recreating the look of the game. I look forward to this phase in development!
