Patch 4.0.0 Battlepass, Equipment System, and Balance

Major Features


A battlepass has been added to the game that contains 100 levels and is completely free for the launch of S0 "Sword and Sorcery." Earn Confucius as well as a sword and staff that get better glow effects the more you level.

An equipment system has been added to the game. This will further your cosmetic customization and they provide no benefit in-game. Finally you can get a viking shield to add to Erik The Red or a mace for Genghis Khan. Currently all items are availiable either via coins or the battlepass but we may add premium equipment in the future. Big thanks to @JulianBasso our newest developer for helping get this feature out the door.

Confucius has been added to the game. Earn him by reaching level 1 in the battlepass and get a special golden chroma for completing the battlepass.
Performance significantly increased on low end devices. High end devices might see a 10-15% increase in FPS.
Bots have been significantly improved.
Number of wins required to play against humans reduced from 3 -> 1. This should get more human players into the game.

BlinkBehind:
-Range 3000 -> 3500

Chargeblast
-Damage 40 -> 35

DragonBreath
-Increased size and radius by 25% to better match particle

Explosion
-Damage 35 ->30
-Fixed bug where you might be permanently rooted when using the ability

Fireball
-Duration 10 -> 15s

Firerain
-Damage 4 -> 5

ForwardDashAttack
-Significantly increased likelihood of landing the attack
-Fixed bug where using at close range might send you up in the air
-Fixed bug where using next to an object might prematurely end the ability

HomingSphere
-Radius 32 -> 64
-It should now be easier to target a homing sphere on targets out in the open

ImpalingShot
-Damage 10 -> 15

ShieldCounter
-Size increased by 50%

SpikeSmash
-Damage 20 -> 25

[h2]Future Features[/h2]
We'll be working on a simple ranked system and leaderboards improvement.
We'll also add a handful of new abilities to add to the game.
Additionally we intend to increase the effectiveness of bots, allow them to wear random items, and drop their abilities on death.

Patch 3.1.2 Melee Buffed, Merlin Updated, Servers Optimized

Merlin has been updated by @JulianBasso to include his staff.

Balance Changes:

Boomerang
- Radius for Players 32 -> 64

Dragonbreath
- Now provides a 33% speed buff for 6 seconds

Explosion
- Cooldown timer now starts after the full channel has ended (1.5s effective increase to cooldown)
- Enemies should no longer appear invisible if you displace them while they cast the ability
Note: We are unable to reproduce the bug so we only believe we fixed it. If you see it continue to happen please report with a video on discord.

Kickback
- Size increased from 350 -> 400

KnockupPunch
- Cooldown 4s -> 5s
- Damage 20 -> 25
- Size increased 350 -> 400

PoisonSpit
- Duration Reduced 10s -> 8s (one less tick)
- Radius reduced 128 to 64

Spikesmash
- Size increased from 600 -> 650

Swordslash
- Cooldown 2s -> 3s
- Damage 15 -> 20
- Size increased by about 30%

Whirlwind
- Speed buff duration 5s -> 6s (to match its damage duration)


Bug Fixes:
- Another attempt at the server freeze bug. Servers have been slightly optimized as well with this fix.

Hotfix 3.1.2b - Had an error where it would improperly tell you were on the wrong version. Pushed a small 0.08kb patch to fix this.
