4th Era - The RuneChild News

Beta 1.8 AmberGate 1

Started to update the AmberGate map.
Added fishes, plants, and spawn points.
Added two large new buildings, A pantheon and a Castle.
Added a large sewer complex beneath the city.



Added a nature alter for the Stegosaurus... in Mossfield.
(Pray at it and you get a Stegosaurus to ride on.)
Added small descriptions for building and places, mostly in the MossField Map.

Added +10 Achievements and some extra Stats for data.

Now it counts distance for the character, and not the session.
(So if you have traveled long, saved and restarted the save game, the distance will be added up.)

Change a little in the skill menu, so now you can see all your known skills, at the start.
NPC's can be killed by the player, but it will effect your local Karma.
Completing Quests added to your Local Karma.

The May month Challenge is 'Do as much Damage to an Enemy in one hit'.

Beta 1.7 WolfShire

Updating the WolfShire Map. (To the left of the first map.)
Adding Fishes, Plants and Butterflies, for alchemist.
Adding stones and old trees for stone and wood cutting.
Adding Spawn points for random enemies.

Adding three more dungeons each with a Quest.
The mythology monster has been added to the map.
It is a Troll that regenerates, unless you hit it with Fire or Necro Damage

All monster Regenerate now. But the normal enemies only does so, slowly.
Some plants in the cave gives damage, but they can be found with 'Detect Traps'.

I have added an attack Combo mode.
If you hit the enemy, a small red ball appear.
If you hit the again, you get combo damage which multiply.
(And it gives a small flash.)

NPC's with Quests now gets a small green ball over them.

The Speed Runner Challenge was defect. All who tried it got '50', but now it works.

Simple Update for the Easter Egg Hunt

Just some simple things...
Added the Easter Egg Hunt, with 20 eggs, and a special price if you can complete it.

Change the way you get help.
Now you can press H in the different menus to see a little help message.
If you do in the game scene, you get the whole beginner help screen.

I have change the order, how the list on the right side is made.
Now the 'News' is at the bottom, and goes up, so it is easier to see, what just happened.

Update Beta 1.6, Options + Feedback

Added Gore, You can have Blood splatter when you hit an enemy.
Added WayPoints options, so you can remove icons, making it more of a Challenge to find things.
Added FastTravel Options, so you can limit how easy it is to travel.

Feedback things:
Added Stafe options, So you can change between Rotating and Moving sideways with A/D.
Added a break, so it is harder to run through walls.
Added a CheckSum, so you can't edit the Save Game file.
Added a small sound, when you pick up things, so you get audio feedback.
Added that you can also use Arrows and NumPad Arrows to move.
Change how the player touches things, so it is easier to interact with objects.
Expanded the Jump height to 150%, so it is easier to get up stairs.

Added two new mounts, you can ride.
A Stegosaurus, and a Bronze Dragon.
Change three potions, so now you get a random mount, monster or Element, when making those potions.
(Make a +6 Str 'Conjure Mount' potions and you might get a bronze dragon... for a time.)
