Cavity Busters Update 35.12c

Howdy all! Another little patch here.

-fixed some text overlap with gob
-fixed being able to advance multiple loops
-put a limit on the amount of enemies that can spawn on loops
-added a few checks to prevent the game from getting bogged down with too many bullets
-fixed a couple bosses whose hp would not be calculated correctly on their second phase
-fixed a bug where the game would hand out a save badge prematurely (fixed in previous on patch)
-increased the spawn rate of Valver enemies (fixed in previous on patch)
-fixed pink eyed enemies from being able to shot bullets while in death sequence
-updated the credits screen

Cavity Busters Update 35.12b

Hello! I have another batch of fixes and tweaks for ya! Made a couple things a little less grindy and fixed lots of little things that should make the overall experience smoother.

  • adjusted kill requirements for Bloop and Valver enemies
  • fixed secret room playing music multiple times and not resuming level music when leaving
  • fixed a bug where you force wake a boss and then leave and re-enter the room causing the force wake effect to be lost
  • fixed a bug where you could feed teeth to Gob while the game was saving allowing the player get lots of boss teeth
  • fixed a bug where the game would think your falling into a hole when your not
  • fixed a weird wall running glitch in the Harvest Tuum
  • fixed a glitch where you simultaniously die and win the game and it. was. a. mess.
  • fixed boss Jam's hit box
  • fixed being able to pause the game during ending screen
  • fixed clock upgrade. it works a little bit differently but it's 99.9% less buggy
  • adjusted some upgrades descriptions to be more clear
  • adjusted text slide amount in bestiary page
  • tweaked Gullets bestiary description

Ayyye everyone. Another little batch of fixes and a few gameplay tweaks :)

-fixed synergies that you've obtained not saving to the synergy menu
-fixed shop prices from going below zero. they can still hit zero intentionally
-fixed a visual bug with Dronk boss fight where leaving right before the fight and entering again would cause the computers animation to loop
-mad cow disease upgrade now shows up properly in your obtained item list
-fixed the dig meter from showing up even after having dug through a wall
-gave the bestiary menu a little polish
-hopefully fixed a super rare collision crash
-your combo wont decrease in a shmup level even you get hurt
-decreased the required deaths for getting a certain upgrade from 100 to 50.
-aaaa there was something else but I cant remember what it was....well anyways it's fixed/tweaked/made better...hopefully ;0

Cavity Busters Update 35.12

Hello everyone! Here with another small batch of fixes and a couple tweaks to difficulty :)

  • fixed lasers ignoring iframes on tooth player
  • on death screen and win screen player followers are removed
  • enemies can no longer be siphoned by calcified enemies
  • siphon gives less hp to enemies
  • fixed exploit where you could teleport out of a room as enemies were spawning
  • fixed a bug with clock upgrade breaking when pausing the game
  • fixed a bug where shooting from a wall run as tooth gummy while holding the dash button would not resume to full game speed right away
  • fixed a camera glitch when jumping and landing underneath Gob
  • when playing with modifiers chances of bestiary drops are also modified
  • when playing on Pure mode, obtaining upgrades through exchange monster and lab experiment is now possible
  • fixed a couple collision bugs


There was a report of Eyeborgs second eyeball phase causing slowdowns. I could never replicate the slow down but I did try several things to see if I could improve performance. So hopefully it's fixed. Just have to wait and see I guess.

I'm still on the lookout for a few other elusive bugs so hopefully I'll have something for those soon :)

Cavity Busters Update 35.11e

Hello! Finally have an update to fix the achievements not unlocking. For some reason the previous build disabled achievements. They should be working now and most should unlock for you automatically. Achievements that are gained by winning a round will need to be redone. Sorry about that. :(
