Hotfix Patch on Oct 13, 2023

Howdy all,

Thank you for your feedback and bug reports. We have a hotfix patch to address some issues in the Single-player mode first. We are continually working on more improvements. Let's look forward to an even better experience in the full 1.0 release on November 2nd.

  1. Enhanced monster spawning for better performance.
  2. Improved the Refiner display to show required quest items more clearly.
  3. Increased the opening speed of the machine UI for a smoother experience.
  4. Tweaked the triggering conditions for the Cable Guy quest.
  5. Adjusted triggering conditions for the Bounce Back quest.
  6. Refined triggering conditions for the Artwork in the Sky and The Fleeting Youth Tea Society quests.
  7. Modified the way Power Cores drop in the Paradise Lost and Found quest for a more balanced gameplay experience.

  1. Resolved a problem in the "Anyone Can Cook" quest where talking to Larry before teleporting the food would skip a step.
  2. Corrected dialogue errors in the "The New Mascot" quest
  3. Ensured Dan-bi leaves the Church after finishing the "Mister Minister" quest
  4. Fixed the issue in the "Into the Abyss" quest where chainsaws weren't available after completing it
  5. Addressed the problem in "The Jewel of the Eufaula" quest where not listening to the speech didn't remove certain NPCs
  6. Resolved the issue in the "Builder Cruise x Operation Flowergate" quest where a tree blocked train station stairs after completion
  7. Rectified the abnormal acquisition of the Super Filtration Core in the "Into the Abyss" quest
  8. Fixed the problem where resources weren't cleared after an interruption in the "Masterclass" quest
  9. Addressed the issue in the "Just Give a Whistle" quest, preventing premature installation of the repellent whistle
  10. Fixed the problem where rejecting Heidi's confession blocked gifting the Heartknot again
  11. Resolved the issue in "The Wei Forward" quest where subsequent tasks might not trigger
  12. Fixed the problem in "The Quest for the Panacea" quest where the giant stone might not exist
  13. Corrected the issue of Haru still wearing a mask during the Goat quest CGs
  14. Fixed missing sound effects in the mount shop and display interface.
  15. Resolved the modeling problem with Pablo's knees while sitting.
  16. Addressed anomalies in some CGs
  17. Fixed missing dialogue with Venti during the Chat by Oasis activity.
  18. Fixed unexpected issues that were affecting the indoor workshop in the later stages of the game.
  19. Corrected collision issues in various locations within the Abandoned Ruins
  20. Addressed a controller issue causing button dysfunction after exiting the character encyclopedia
  21. Resolved the problem where the sign-up platform for the Day of Memories was obstructing NPC movement
  22. Adjusted abnormal seating height for Catori during the Chat by Oasis activity.
  23. Fixed an issue where NPCs under special circumstances will no longer send gifts to players based on affection.
  24. Rectified abnormal display issues with completed orders.
  25. Resolved problems with the Industrial Furnace's orders.
  26. Fixed the modeling issue with the Helical Gear Sword and Shield.
  27. Ensured Logan now closes his eyes while sleeping.
  28. Resolved the issue of the relationship level in the social interface displaying abnormally in certain situations.
  29. Fixed the problem of the energy icon not fully displaying in dialogue options.
  30. Addressed a collision issue in a building in the Valley of Whispers.
  31. Adjusted overly bright lighting in the CG 'Drifting'.
  32. Fixed the issue of train tracks and wooden bridges intersecting
  33. Improved pathfinding near the Golden Goose Center.
  34. Fixed the issue where the Guidance prompt didn't correctly trigger when quickly switching menus
  35. Addressed inconsistencies in the art performance of cliffside buildings

Act 3 Update Available Now! Main Story Finale!

[h3]Act 3 is finally here and marks the journey towards the main storyline finale! [/h3]
Enjoy the brand new main story content, side quests, new romanceable stories, new areas to explore, and much more!



It has been five months since our last update, and we have been diligently working on this, although the workload has been quite substantial. We hope for your understanding. Below, you will find a comparison between My Time in Sandrock and My Time in Portia. The story expansion from Portia to Sandrock indeed consumed a significant amount of our time, and we want to thank you for your continued support.

Act 3 Update Patch Notes

Added:

● Added main storyline and side quests, which sets a brand new chapter after all the dark schemes happening in Sandrock
● Added romance quests for Nia, Logan, Amirah, Heidi, Grace, Ernest, and Qi.
● Added new romanceable NPC: Jane
● Added new dungeon: Greeno Factory
● Added new area: Undersea Laboratory
● Added Appearance System
● Added mini-game - Mahjong
● Added Shotgun
● Added a special weapon: Altair RX-67
● Added a report where players can check after finishing the main story of Sandrock

● Optimized the content guide and increased the length of the guide.

● Optimized the running speed and steering of mounts
● Optimized the interactions with treasure chests

● Optimized home system. New items can now be placed within your home.
● Increased the sales price of antiques
● Optimized the ability to use items directly from the storage box in planting mode
● Optimized the interactive bubble that appears when there are rewards to be claimed in the museum
● Optimized the notifications after donating to the museum
● Optimized the size of the icon for quests/assemblies inside the store
● Optimized the notifications when the player received new points in the knowledge system
● Added new gifts in the 'Day of The Bright Sun' event
● Optimized the NPC's speed when grabbing gifts during the 'Day of The Bright Sun' event
● Optimized the refining machine to show which items are equipped and which items are on the quick toolbar
● Optimized the notifications when the machine is out of space during upgrades
● Optimized the level-up experience. Now leveling will restore all HP and some stamina
● Adjusted the unlocking and material requirements for Drying Rack
● Optimized the layout of advanced commissions
● Optimized the sound effects that occur when the backpack is full
● Optimized the volume on some speech bubbles
● Optimized the issue where the townsfolks' daily conversations and play/date event conversations do not match the player's current story progression

Bugs & Fixes

Numerous known bugs have been successfully addressed, but efforts are still underway to resolve some of the remaining issues.

  1. Make sure you have the latest version of the game installed.
  2. Launch 'Sandrock' in your Steam library.
  3. Once a window pops up, choose the 'Multiplayer Mode' option, and you'll be ready to dive in!


But for Epic players, you need to find and launch the 'Sandrock Multiplayer DLC' in your Library.
