Hotfix Patch on Dec. 16

Howdy all,

We have released a hotfix patch. This brings in some tweaks and fixes. Next week we will do more and try to make the puzzles less difficult (There is a guide attached below, it's the temporary solution, and we'll continue to work on a solution). Below is the changelist:

Adjusted and Optimized
  • Adjusted the respawn of Almunimum scrap, Fiber Scrap and Advanced Mechanical Scrap in the Eufaula Salvage backyard
  • Adjusted Scorpion respawn chances
  • Reduces gem requirements for refining
  • Optimized the loading time when entering the main menu from the workshop, shop, or dungeon UI
Fixed:
  • Fixed Great Wall placement issues
  • Fixed an issue where game start notices were not displayed
  • Fixed an issue with Zeke's dialogue in French
  • Fixed an issue where the Refiner UI could not be closed
  • Fixed a freeze issue after sleeping in the quest The Goat
  • Fixed a black screen issue after the quest Install Telescope
  • Fixed graphical issues in mineral dungeons

The secret behind the mask patch is available. Many of our developers (about 2/3) have recently got Covid and are either working from home or recovering from the virus affecting development. We don't want to disappoint you, we released the update as planned, however, there are some bugs and issues waiting to be fixed and optimized and some known bugs are attached below the change list. Please let us know if you find more.

It's also a pivotal episode and a twist on Sandrock's overall story design, and the most The episode provides a twist the overall story design of Sandrock by focusing on the secret behind Logan`s actions and the consequences of their choices. It also highlights the importance of responsibility and accountability, how builders make difficult decisions when considering how the future unfolds, and how vast amounts of information indicate what should be accepted.

Now, update your game, continue your adventure and explore new areas until you finally have a chance to find Logan and what's behind it! Here's a reminder of what Logan did to Sandrock! Builders, it's time!!!

  • Fixed camera issues in group photo mode
  • Fixed an issue where characters would sometimes speak without opening their mouths

  • Fixed incorrect display of train stations in Russian


Known Issues
  • Amirah will eat at Arvio's house during the Masquerade Ball quest
  • Contaminated Plierimp voice cannot be triggered
  • Footprint problems
  • Grace's tongue is in an unusual position when she speaks
  • Heidi's dialogue issue
  • In Mole Mineral Cave, open the treasure detector to scan, and the rock will glow blue
  • Mounts are spinning after the return
  • Planting knowledge negatively affects dew collectors
  • Some lag issues after new content
  • The task prompt on the map does not disappear after completing the Clear the Boulders quest
  • Unable to unlock Waste Not Want Not Achievement

Multiplayer Closed Test Begins & Join Now

Howdy all,
From December 12th, 2022, to December 24th, 2022, we are conducting another closed multiplayer test on Steam. Everyone who has the base game can log in now. All you need is to join our Discord. Get your branch code and access the particular sub-channel to talk with us. All accesses will be processed together on the 11th and 19th, and other enrollments will be granted from time to time during this period.

Then, we'll handle the other round of open public tests with all EA players based on the closed testing feedback. It aims at sometime around mid-Jan.

This debug closed test may experience glitches, crashes, server disconnections, maintenance, etc. Future open tests and releases will not carry over save progress.


Please note our Multiplayer Closed Alpha Non-disclosure Agreement [Pinned in the Discord test channel] and don't share the closed test content. Thank you for understanding.

4. Added the display of friends offline time
5. Upgraded commerce content. (add more construction content, increase the impact of the commerce level)
6. Added the "Move Out" function.
7. Added three types of collab commissions (workshop orders, planting orders, hunting orders)
8. Added the function of placing furniture in the home to increase characters' attributes.
9. Added the Announcement System
10. Added the function of synchronizing the progress of quests to neighbors.
11. Added the mounting system (The current version only allows renting mounts)

16. Added the Town Management System (Town owner can kick inactive people now)

Part 2 of the Hey Old Pals patch, The secret behind the mask, will be released around Dec. 14
This is a pivotal episode, a twist to Sandrock's entire story design, and a chance to learn more about the desert and the criminals!!!
