This second wishlist goal reward goes beyond the customization available in My Time at Portia. We will add a customization option for all ‘Furniture’ category items in Sandrock, not including tools, workstations, or other non-furniture items.

This extra feature will provide more freedom for players to assemble their furniture by choosing the best part they like, and change colors they like. For example, a customizable bed may be composed of the headboard, the footboard, and other parts. We plan to put preset options for each part, then you can choose the different textures and designs of each part, as well as easily change the default color to the desired color. Finally, you may also customize your bed with a wooden headboard and bronze footboard, rather than both parts being made of the same material.

Next goal is the multiplayer play-date at 200K wishlists. Let’s keep going, beta access is right around the corner for all Kickstarter backers who had pledged $30 and above!

We’re gearing up to start working on the first round of Kickstarter custom designs for those who backed the “Design Starter” and higher tiers, and that process begins with you! First up are the custom weapons, hairstyles, and artwork. Once these are sorted out, we’ll move on to the other designer perks.

While we encourage creativity, there are some guidelines for your creations so that they fit into the world of Sandrock. For the full guidelines, please check your email! There are also limited slot quantities for each type (such as type of weapon or category of hairstyle) to provide a balanced selection of types, so first come, first served! If you don’t get your first choice, you’ll have to go with your next choice!

If you’re looking for inspiration from Portia’s custom weapon designs, head to the Portia wiki here and check out Obsidian Edge, Ruin Text Claymore, and Macuahuitl. There are many more weapon types to choose from this time around.

For custom artwork, check out Painting: Moritz, Painting: Sea Lion, and Painting: Boy. If you’re not eager to put your own art into the game, you can submit your friend’s art or artwork you’ve commissioned instead, and that artist will be credited. But get that artist's permission first!

And as for hairstyles, so long as we can make it work, there’s no limit on hair type, style, length, or number of colors you can use. Go wild!

We’re excited to see what you come up with and will work with you to iron out any issues that may come up. Read the guidelines carefully before submitting anything, and join our Discord server or email [email protected] if you have questions!

2020 has been a big year for us.

We have announced My Time at Sandrock, we launched the game Ever Forward, we had SBT in open alpha and open Beta.

Next year is expected to be even bigger as we are expecting to Launch both My Time at Sandrock and Super Buckyball Tournament and we have been working hard to get the games ready for you.

At Pathea we thank everyone for all the massive love and support for our games. We’re looking forward to bring you more amazing content in the coming year, can’t wait to see you next time!

These features aren’t in our original developing plans, but we know that missing out on some of the highly-requested Kickstarter stretch goals was a bummer, so we want to make the extra effort to show our appreciation for your support! And we’re at 92,000 wishlists already, so we’re getting close to the first goal!

• 100k wishlists: We'll add facial make-up into character customization
  
• 150k wishlists: We'll add a 'furniture customization' function that will allow players to mix and match furniture parts
  
• 200k wishlists: We'll add a 'multiplayer play/date' function between players
  
• 250k wishlists: We'll add to the current plans for parenting functions and have kids grow up to at least school age
