Hotfix - Patch #2.1

Hey, folks!

We just fixed a savegame-related issue that may have affected a small fraction of players.

Chicken Police will be a part of THE BIG ADVENTURE EVENT!

THE BIG ADVENTURE EVENT!

Chicken Police will be part of The Big Adventure Event, alongside the very best adventure and/or mystery solving games out there!

We will have a developer play video and hopefully a brand new patch for the game too with some pretty neat changes, fixes, and updates!

PATCH #2 - New year! New patch!

[h3]Happy New Year, everyone![/h3]



We worked hard on the second big patch of Chicken Police, in the hope that it will elevate your experience even more! Here's what we did this time:

[h2]NEW FEATURES AND IMPORTANT UPDATES:[/h2]
[h3]Two new mini-cutscenes after the car chase sequences[/h3]
- After you win any of the two car chase scenes, a small cutscene will play which connects the mini-game with the next scene.
[h3]Killed a lot of text errors, typos, voice vs. text differences[/h3]
- Fixed few-hundred typos and text errors in the script (and we will continue to do this if we find new ones!), also fixed all the known differences between spoken and written dialogues.

[h2]SMALLER UPDATES AND BUGFIXES:[/h2]
- There was a wrong text shown in the Bubo's Place page, now it's fixed.
- Problems with the cutscenes (black screen) should be gone now.
- Fixed the missing localization of Ibn Wessler's 7th personal info entry.
- Fixed the issue where the statistic page listed 35 achievements instead of 31.
- Missing localizations are fixed.
- Fixed the wrong voice-line in one of the dialogues at Mullen's Stand.
- Fixed a ton of minor graphical glitches and bugs.
- Pausing the game will no longer cause issues in the clue connector minigames, nor affect dialog playback.
- Spamming the ESC button at the sculpt in the weekend house can’t "softlock" the game anymore.

[h2]PLANS FOR FUTURE UPDATES[/h2]
- We didn't drop the idea of the new save system, but it needs a little more work on our side. Hopefully, it will be coming with the next big update.
- Some of you mentioned that it would be great to see new items highlighted in the notebook. We plan to add this feature too.
- We also planned several minor convenience features to smoothen the overall experience.

[h2]SOME TIPS FOR THE PLAYERS: [/h2]
- Those who found the car chase scenes to be too difficult, we have a quite handy tip for you: Aim for the wheels!
- If you want to get the name of the Bouncer (which is needed for an achievement and for the 100% completion), just speak with him again after he opened the door of the Czar club till you get his name in your notebook.
