This Week at Bungie - 9/22/2022

This week at Bungie, we’ve got a light TWAB for you, but the teams are excited to share what they’ve been working on soon. Remember, TWABs are just one part of the conversation. A lighter TWAB is a good thing sometimes. It means heads are down and creativity is high! But before we dive into that, here’s what we’ve got for you this week.

For this week’s TWAB-time, we aren’t talking like pirates anymore (sad), but we do have a nifty way for you to continue living that pirate fantasy with the Season of Plunder soundtrack. We’ve also got a few new Bungie Rewards to earn for those swashbucklers looking to make their mark out in the non-digital world, more Legendary universal ornaments, and an update from our Player Support team on known issues and what’s coming down the immediate pipeline.

The best places to farm powerful Cabal in Destiny 2




Powerful Cabal aren't the easiest enemy type to locate in Destiny 2, and only spawn in a few certain locations and activities. The bad news is that to complete one of this week's seasonal challenges for repute to upgrade your star map, you're going to have to beat a whole heap of these fellas. At least it's not quite the fifty champions we had to farm last week...

Bungie accused of hacking by Destiny 2 cheat maker




Bungie's war against cheat makers rages on. The developer has been locked in a battle with AimJunkies since early this year, filing a copyright infringement complaint against the business and its parent company Phoenix Digital. A Seattle judge dismissed the infringement claims in May, agreeing with AimJunkies that its software was an original creation. Bungie was given the opportunity to amend its complaint, which it did a few weeks later...
