This Week in Destiny, we’re getting cozy for the holidays with some baking. Not only for the Dawning, but also for ourselves. After all, we can only deliver so many Classic Butter Cookies before wanting some for ourselves. With the holidays upon us, this is our final TWID for the year, so let’s get into it!

Guardians, get into the spirit of the season with our annual winter celebration. Earn a Legendary weapon and try out new looks with armor ornaments, emotes, and more. Speak with Eva Levante in the Tower to get started.

Earn Dawning Spirit by completing festive missions, baking new treats for your favorite vendors across the solar system, and throwing Stasis-infused snowballs. Spread joy and earn holiday goodies. 

[h3]New Legendary Linear Fusion Rifle [/h3]
Wield Mistral Lift and show the enemies of humanity a real light show. 

[h3]Armor Ornaments [/h3]
It’s a holiday party, so make sure you dress for the occasion. Head to the Eververse Store for festive armor ornaments that are sure to turn heads. 

[h3]Emblems to Unwrap [/h3]
This year, opening a Dawning package has a chance to drop one of three rare emblems; bake specific cookies each week to increase drop chances. Collect them all! 

[h3]New Event Card Rewards and Challenges [/h3]
Play for free or upgrade your card to earn Dawning delights for your Guardian, including new Sparrows, ships, Ghost shells, and more. Unwrap your Event Card in the Quests tab in-game. 

[h3]Dawning Bungie Rewards [/h3]
A new Bungie Reward offering is always a cause for celebration, no matter if you’re naughty or nice. This year’s Dawning Traveler-themed ornament will be a centerpiece of any display.

The Destiny 2 damage meta is a fragile thing, twisting at the mercy of balance and efficiency and encounter design. You can go a long way in the game with a good grenade launcher and a decent one-shot Super, but the real sickos are out here doing unholy things with weapon switches, armour hotswaps and niche loadout combinations. And yet for a brief period yesterday, the meta loadout was a solved problem thanks to a Warlock exotic that basically nobody uses...
