Destiny 2: The Edge of Fate is out today and, while there are a few "emergent issues" on Bungie's radar, so far it seems to be going pretty well, which is nice. Some players were surprised by one seeming change, though: The voice of Ikora Rey, the Warlock Vanguard, seemed a little off. There's a reason for that, as it turns out, and it'll be changed back soon enough anyway...

The Fate Saga begins in Destiny 2 with The Edge of Fate. Guardians will track a mysterious signal to a location at the edge of the solar system, where they will uncover a truth that redefines their future.

The Future Is Now
A new adventure and the start of a new saga in Destiny 2. World tiers allow Guardians to select the level of difficulty that is right for them and reap the rewards that come with victory. Higher tiers offer more challenge, additional narrative threads, new secrets to uncover, and more powerful gear to collect.

Access Kepler’s Secrets
Hidden deep within Sol, a new destination awaits: the mysterious planetoid of Kepler. Explore a lost human settlement and forgotten Fallen houses, and encounter new characters, all affected by a mysterious Anomaly that has twisted the destination into something menacing.

Destination Abilities
Push the limit of your Guardian’s capabilities by tapping into dark matter and unlocking enemy technology with Kepler’s new destination abilities.

New Foes
Two new enemy combatants have entered the fray. Cut down swarming masses of Vex drones known as Kobolds, and face diabolical hovering Fallen Corsairs, each intent on standing in the way of your success.

The Edge of Fate kicks off the next era of Destiny 2 with a trippy campaign premise all about the Nine, and that's going to be further expanded upon once the The Desert Perpetual release time rolls around. From the brief glimpse we've had so far, it looks to give us more of a look at the Nine's realm of Eternity, and I'm all here for it...

s its name suggests, Armour 3.0 is yet another sweeping overhaul to the way your armour works in Destiny 2. Third time's the charm, right? Armour 2.0 was introduced with Shadowkeep back in 2019, and I'd say it's time for a change anyhow. Armour 3.0 is a total makeover, bringing major changes to all new armour in The Edge of Fate and beyond, which includes brand new stats and armour archetypes...
