Destiny fans have made it into a D&D tabletop RPG

While the next Destiny 2 expansion is looming on the horizon, hissing curses and weaving lies, you can continue your adventures so far beyond Bungie's official telling in a pen & paper adaptation. Fans have turned the MMOFPS into a tabletop RPG, building on the rules of Dungeons & Dragons 5th Edition to create Dungeons & Destiny. It's free, it just released a new version, and it's jolly impressive.

This Week At Bungie – 8/12/2021

This week at Bungie, we take a pass on Exotic armors and mods.

As we get closer to launch, I can’t help but feel we should keep these introductions short and sweet. So, with that in mind, I’ll keep this to a bulleted list:

  • Have you played Destiny 2 this week?
  • Check out the Epilogue. It’s pretty sweet. No spoilers!

  • We have less than two weeks until our Destiny 2 Showcase.
  • Are you hyped? We are.

  • We previewed some Season 15 Champion Mods this week.
  • Miss it? Head over to twitter for the sneak peek.

Time is flying by. We have a bit to cover. We hit you last week with a bulky sandbox update for abilities. This week, we’re focusing on Exotic armor and armor mods. Let’s get into the thick of it.

This Week At Bungie – 8/05/2021

This week at Bungie, we start shaking up the sandbox.

Welcome to the TWAB. We’ve got a lot to cover today so I’m going to skip the small talk and get into it.

Yesterday, Assistant Game Director and mustache enthusiast Joe Blackburn went out on Twitter and talked about some our upcoming plans regarding Destiny 2 PVP.

Please give the whole thread a read, but for the tl:dr crew, the main thing we want everyone to know is that we have a plan, it's going to take some time, and we are excited about the future of creating a more consistent delivery of PVP content each year.

Check out the full TWAB on Bungie.net for upcoming updates to abilities and more.
