A new PlayStation studio which "originated at" Bungie is working on “a team-based action game” inspired by life sims and “frog-type games”, but what the frog does that mean?

It's Wednesday (as I write this), and PlayStation has a new studio it'd like to you to meet. Come on, don't be shy. They won't bite. Only execs do that. This group of devs that's just been granted full PS studio status goes by teamLFG, and it's working on a multiplayery game that also claims to be inspired by "frog-type games".

If you want to acquire New Land Beyond in Destiny 2, it's important to preface one thing: you're going to have to open your wallet. For now at least, as with past pre-order exotics, there's no way to get this weapon for free in the game—though there likely will be in future. Turns out Bungie's plan to save Destiny 2 is literal Star Wars and two expansions a year

While Bungie is obviously quite busy presumably stressing over lukewarm responses to its next game Marathon, they're still working on a bunch of Destiny 2 stuff. The studio revealed a plethora of expansions today, all of which are building up a new "multi-year saga" called the Fate Saga. We'll get to it in a moment, but one of these expansions might raise an eyebrow, as it is quite literally a Star Wars crossover, but is also described by narrative designer Alison Luhrs as one that will push the Fate Saga "forward in important ways and introduce characters that we're going to spend time with for years to come."
