This Week in Destiny

This week in Destiny, we’re TWIDdling our way into more epic fashion, answering some sandbox Qs, and offering up a few other reminders that some folks might be looking for. This Week at Bungie - 05/25/2023

This week at Bungie, we’re expanding that IP family a little more, getting our PlayStation on with some fun new crossovers coming to Destiny 2, and living out our aquanaut fantasies.

What a week, am I right? Bungie’s second PlayStation showcase since we joined the PS fam, and we couldn’t be more excited to share just a smidge of what the teams here have been working on behind the scenes. The future is bright, but for right now? We deep dive for Sloane whilst wearing our finest PlayStation-inspired digs. But before we delve into the delectable secrets of another TWAB, here’s a quick look back at what we talked about last week:

Destiny 2: The Final Shape shows cool big triangle (also resurrection of Nathan Fillion)

Mere hours after I said "even a return to Titan can't bring me back to Destiny 2," Bungie showed something that might just do it: a really big, weird triangle. During last night's PlayStation Showcase, they revealed a teaser trailer for The Final Shape, the upcoming expansion which will end the MMOFPS's decade-long main story arc, and a very good big triangle is involved. Oh, also fan-favourite character Cayde-6 is back, voiced again by Nathan Fillion. But you need to see this big triangle.
