Destiny 2: The Witch Queen expansion features enemies who will use Light against you

Bungie showed off the first look at The Witch Queen today, which is the next expansion for Destiny 2.

While some info was leaked on the PlayStation Store earlier today, more information was provided during a stream, along with confirmation of a February 22 release.

The Witch Queen comes with area called Savathun's Throne World which harbors the new Lucent Hive Guardians which will wield the Light against you, and they have their own Hive Ghosts. So they will be something to contend with.

Destiny 2: The Witch Queen will introduce Hive Guardians

The next Destiny 2 expansion will resurrect the dastardly Hive as Guardians, Bungie revealed today. Oh dear. Along with detailing The Witch Queen and new features like weapon crafting, Bungie spoke about long-term plans. They confirmed that yep they do plan to continue Destiny 2 past the end of the current 'Light and Darkness Saga', which will wrap up in an expansion named The Final Shape. Goodness me they announced a lot.
