• [p]Added 2 new rare spawn skins for Flame Stalkers, "Ashfall" and "Blue Flame" which can be obtained by spawning from the menu or from player nests.[/p]

[p][/p][h3]BONUS "BURNOUT" SKIN ADDED TO FLAME STALKER EMOTE PACK[/h3]

• [p]As we have done with other Emote packs, we have added a new skin to the Flame Stalker Emote Pack. The pack price has not changed, but we have added more value to the emote pack.[/p]

[p][/p][h3]OTHER STUFF IN THIS PATCH[/h3]

• [p]AI can now be Bioluminesced by Biolumins![/p][p][/p]
• [p]Unique Bind on Acquire pearls are no longer deleted from your species inventory on death/renest. They now carry over. This does not affect Bind on Equip uniques like slayer pearls which will still be lost on death/renest. All uniques still transfer on respawn.[/p]
• [p]Optimized Textures for all characters to reduce VRAM usage which should allow lower-end cards with less than 6GB VRAM to run the game better.[/p]
• [p]Due to community feedback, Emote pack skins can now be piebalded. Go make those Stellar Nebula pies![/p]
• [p]Fixed piebald patterns showing on some dragon's metallic skins[/p]
• [p]Fixed inverse pie patterns causing the mouth parts to turn white[/p]
• [p]Tweaked Default Network Configuration so older server hardware can run the game better[/p]
• [p]Fixed various texture issues[/p]

[h2]1.2.17 PATCH NOTES[/h2][p][/p][p]The Winter Holiday Event is over and Spring has returned to the Forgotten Forests. Thank you all for celebrating the holidays with us! We hope you all enjoyed your gifts. Today's patch not only bids farewell to Winter, but also adds some new stuff for you to enjoy...[/p][p][/p][h3]ADDED INVERSE PIEBALD PATTERNS[/h3]

• [p]Each piebald pattern now has an inverse pattern which doubles the total number of piebald mutations in the game for each dragon! (was 4, now 8)[/p][p][/p]

[h3]NEW SKIN FOR BIOLUMINS[/h3]

• [p]Added a new uncommon spawn skin for Biolumins, "Monarch" which can be obtained by spawning from the owned DLC or from the NPC Nest on the island.[/p][p][/p]

[h3]OTHER STUFF IN THIS PATCH[/h3]

• [p]Free-play has ended for the Acid Spitter, Blitz Striker, and Biolumin. You get to keep your free-play dragons until they perish. Afterwards you will need to either obtain the DLC or get nested in by another player. But don't worry, we plan to bring Free-play back for our 2026 Winter Holiday Event along with a new questline entitled, "Return of the Dragonking" where you get to meet Vhrelyn and earn the "Bow" emote![/p]
• [p]Island NPC Biolumin nest now has a small 5% chance to spawn females (previously was 0%)[/p]
• [p]Max Player Server Config Hard Cap increased (was 200, now 300). For most modern servers, we still recommend 100 players max for best playability. However, for high performance Zen5 servers, we recommend no more than 125 players per dedicated cpu physical core (up to 300).[/p]

[p][/p][p][/p][p]We have a lot of cool things in store for you this year in 2026, including Skin Crafting, the Singe Crest, the Mimikor, and much much more! 2026 is the year of the DRAGONS!🐉[/p][p]Oh... did we mention that Sanctuary, our most popular PvE server, can now support up to 200 players? Our Lead Dev SuperRhino did some lengthy maintenance on the server Friday and players are reporting stable gameplay performance with 200 concurrent players! Awesome right!? [h2]1.2.16 PATCH NOTES[/h2][p][/p][p]The third (and final!) part of our Winter Holiday Event is here with one final gift for to all of you this Christmas.[/p][p][/p][p]The Last Gift grants FREE PLAY ACCESS to the Acid Spitter, Blitz Striker, and Biolumin dragons for the remainder of the Winter Holiday Event (until January 4th)! That means that you can spawn in as these DLC dragons without owning them. We have also patched in the Piebald Mutations for Flame Stalkers, Shadow Scales, and Moo Cows (Brood Watchers). • [p]Fixed a bug where Admin Restore from the Admin Menu was not saving Piebald and Static Emissive Slider settings for the player... and removing Piebald forever. It is now safe to use this on Piebald players.[/p]
• [p]Fixed a typo on the Grid map, the second B4 is now properly D4[/p]
• [p]Fixed an issue where piebald mutations were appearing on Metallic Skins when the Golden Pearl was applied (sorry but this breaks Lore)[/p]
• [p]DID NOT FIX an issue where Piebald was appearing on Legendary Skins due to community feedback. Due to player happiness with this bug, we decided to leave it in the game.[/p]
• [p]The Golden pearl now treats Albino as Leucistic meaning that it applies the same effect to Albino as it does to Leucistic skins.[/p]

• [p]Fixed a bug where dropped pearls were only lasting 30 seconds. They now correctly last 300 seconds (5 minutes)[/p]

• [p]The Shimmer slider is no longer super slow and now moves smoothly with the mouse[/p]
