Opium Trail region - Coming 15th April


Hi everyone,

A bit later than planned but excited to say that the new Opium Trail region is coming out 15th April!

Locals in this secluded river valley depend upon opium farming to survive, but so do the insurgents…

Hi everyone,

We're hard at work on lots of cool and exciting updates for Rebel Inc: Escalation and we wanted to give everyone an idea of what to expect and when! Please note - we are working on multiple different things in parallel so the actual order of release might change a bit if things are easier/harder than expected. Dates are not final!

[h3]New Region[/h3]
A brand new region which sees players dealing with rampant opium production. This should be out by the end of March.

[h3]Stats & Progression[/h3]
See your achievements and career as a governor so far! Giving you a detailed view, how many wins? How much money have you spent? How many refugees have you saved? It's all here. This may end up coming after Co-Op.

[h3]Co-Op Multiplayer[/h3]
Play with your friend and bring about a new golden age of peace to your regions!
This should be out by the end of April.

[h3]Scenario Creator[/h3]
Who said nation building was hard? Develop your own custom scenarios with unique strategic challenges and narratives then share them with Steam Workshop. What will you make?

[h3]VS Multiplayer[/h3]
Compete against the world, use covert tricks or vicious shock and awe to establish your own agenda!

Once we've completed these, we will continue to support Rebel Inc: Escalation with lots of new regions, governors, scenarios and maybe even a few surprises in future (free!) updates.

Building these updates is a huge challenge, we're working hard on it and can't wait to share what we've got in store!

  • Re-balanced initiative costs for Tank Commander
  • National Tank Units now move slightly faster
  • Advisors will no longer appear with Map Features or Player Tactics which conflict with their benefit in Weekly Challenge (e.g. Pilot and No-Fly Zone)

We've got an update with a few fixes, improvements and balance changes for Rebel Inc: Escalation:

  • Prevented Counter Intelligence player tactic from being selected in Weekly Challenge, will only appear in Campaign now
  • Slightly boosted tank strength and decreased hostile perception in zones with fighting tanks
  • Slightly decreased the cost modifier on civilian initiatives for Tank Commander
  • Boosted specialist unit combat strength, intel collection and support bonus when in the relevant zone type
  • Fixed achievement titles and descriptions when shown in game.
  • Minor issue with zone ordering fixed
