This Cyberpunk 2077 mod adds Edgerunners-inspired cyberpsychosis

CD Projekt Red recently updated Cyberpunk 2077 to add items from the new anime series, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Their own updates didn't add the show's omnipresent risk of cyberpsychosis, however, so a modder has stepped in to do it for them. The Wannabe Edgerunner mod adds a "humanity" cost to all cyberware implants and certain actions in the open-world shooter, as well as consequences for when your humanity gets too low.

CD Projekt is helping Stadia players rescue their Cyberpunk 2077 save files from annihilation




The surprise dissolution of Stadia (which, to be clear, won't actually happen until January) has left users and developers alike scrambling to respond. Google is offering refunds on Stadia hardware and software purchases, which is definitely a good move, but it's not much help for people who own a game on Stadia and want to keep playing it somewhere else...

Cyberpunk 2077 Cyberpsychosis mod takes inspiration from Edgerunners

A new mod has been made available for Cyberpunk 2077, and it adds Cyberpsychosis to the mix.

Over on Nexus, modder DJ_Kovrik has created an Edgerunners-inspired addition that adds a Humanity Cost system for cyberware implants and low Humanity side-effects including cyberpsychosis (thanks, Games Radar).

Wannabe Edgerunner - A Simple Cyberpsychosis Mod basically adds Humanity as a stat. This stat depends on installed cyberware, Berserk/Sandevistan usages, and committed kills. With each implant, your Humanity will permanently decrease while installed.

CD Projekt RED outlines how to keep your Cyberpunk 2077 saves now that Stadia is closing down

An update to the CD Projekt RED support page outlines how Stadia users can download their Cyberpunk 2077 saves.

With Stadia shutting down in January , folks are understandably worried about their save game files. Those who play Cyberpunk 2077 and want to continue playing their game on another platform, need only do the following using Google Takeout, per CDPR.



  1. Open takeout.google.com.

  2. In the "Create a new export" section click "Deselect all" and select "Stadia". Press "Next Step" to continue.

  3. Choose your preferred destination and “Export once” frequency. Choose ".zip" file type and "2 GB" size. Press "Create Export".

  4. Download the export from the destination chosen in the previous step.

  5. Locate the downloaded archive on your PC. Extract it.

  6. Your Cyberpunk 2077 game saves will be located in the following path: .../Takeout/Stadia/GAMING/GAME_SAVE/

  7. Note that there may be saved files from other games located there as well.

  8. Files of each game save are located inside archives. Extract them to separate folders.

  9. To use the extracted saves on the PC version, simply copy-paste those folders to the following path: %userprofile%\Saved Games\CD Projekt Red\Cyberpunk 2077

  10. Make sure that files are not nested inside another folder.
