It looks like CD Projekt somehow anticipated that a few plucky players would attempt to hitch a ride on a rocket in Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty expansion.

Before we go any further, if you’re yet to finish the DLC and don’t want to see any spoilers for it, make sure you’ve heeded the warning above.

CD Projekt RED's Colin Walder, engineering director for management and audio, has shared a few thoughts on how the Polish developer's next Witcher RPG, codenamed Polaris, will improve on the cataclysmic development of Cyberpunk 2077. There's not a lot to share at this stage, of course, but what there is sounds like a step in the right direction.

Between the game's wide-ranging 2.0 update and its slick Phantom Liberty expansion pack, most onlookers now agree that the game is—if not the awe-inspiring masterwork it was hyped up to be prior to release—pretty good.
