Don't forget to choose your faction on our DiscordA whole lot of minor changes are currently being made to Operation: Valor. First and foremost, Operation: Valor's Steam page is up and running properly. You can now Wishlist the game and the demo (release date is upcoming).
These new updates are still a work in progress but this 3 man team has been hard at work to bring you an experience worthy of the wait!Character Creation
Characters will be changed once a proper model has been constructedUpon starting Operation: Valor, you will be able to customize your character's appearance and choose your faction.
We have always intended to have a playable female characters as across history and every culture, women have been an important factor to resistance movements and battles. At this current moment we only have a male character model (which we purchased on the Unity Asset store). Again, we apologize for this major issue but we are continuously looking for a new Character Artist to hire.

We used to have a buy wheel system that would allow players to buy a weapon at the start of every raid. However, we quickly realized that this is tedious and doesn't fit the raid game mode. Instead, we have constructed a loadout/backpack system that will allow fully customizable loadout selections that can be saved (or lost!) throughout raids. The video linked above is obviously a W.I.P and is actually much further along now.
Blood
Previously, blood was only a particle system of blood blobs that expunged from the player in a cartoon-like style. Now, there are two differing blood loss systems in place. Firstly, a cloudy-mist of blood will be instantiated on every hit, and death will end in a large blood splat that slowly fades in. This adds another level of graphic fidelity, of which we are constantly improving.

We are currently in the process of adding the backend to the character creation/the loadout. Once this is done, we will be polishing/doing internal testing for about two weeks before we will release the demo. The networking, statistical and environmental work is already complete (for at least the first map of Valor Valley), so completion is nearly there. We appreciate your patience.
