Bleakfyre Harrows - New Beta Build Release

The [Bleakfyre Harrows] update features a whole new story chapter, with a new town, dungeon, and lewd animated scenes! (see full changelog list below)

I'm compelled to explain why this particular update took an unusually long time to be released.

The TL;DR of it is that I had been suffering from a debilitating mental depression from an unclear physical cause, which I believe I have now overcome after many lifestyle changes/experiments.

I feel inclined to apologize profusely to everyone who has supported the project to date, even if in retrospect, the depression turned out to be outside of my immediate control.

I have been a powerhouse of work and motivation for these past two weeks and am very hopeful that I'll be able to continue at this pace!

I'm very sorry that I left you all waiting so long for new content and fixes to Venture Seas. Moving forward, I'm genuinely excited to be working at my maximum ability/enjoyment again!

Venture Seas - December 2021 Progress Report

We've been rushing to get a beta release out before the 25th, but unfortunately, Christmas is right around the corner and we can't get something playable (or with complete artworks) ready in time this year :(

Big apologies for not having something new to experience for the holidays in Venture Seas, but hopefully the new content will be a lot more enjoyable, with us given more time to refine the latest content release and ensure as few bugs as possible.

Venture Seas - November 2021 Progress Report

Time for another progress update and, while we’re not quite there yet, it feels like everything really is starting to come together for this next build. (If you follow our twitter, you'll likely know some of this already.)

First and foremost here’s the finished implementation of the new ‘Greblin’ race NPCs, a belligerent race of goblinoid enemies that infest Bleakfyre Harrows.



But before you can get to grips with them you’ll have to negotiate your way past the voracious Swamp Goddess who claims ownership of these tainted lands. (Work in Progress)



We've also finished adding a new 'mayan-influenced' city to the game, where you will meet the beautiful Priestess Akna!

Venture Seas - September 2021 Progress Report

Progress update for Venture Seas! Just wanted to waffle about our progress on the next build.

Firstly, I'd like to mention that we're trying out a social media posting schedule, so we can keep people more informed.

I'll be posting info and artwork about the project on the Official Twitter.

As for the next build, we've been working hard on Bleakfyre Harrows (the final 'main story' dungeon) and Itzayula (a new 'mayan inspired' swamp city)

All of the dungeon scenes are written and implemented as a base, awaiting testing and final artwork.

Here's some concepts of a new shortstack 'Greblin' race we've been designing for the new dungeon!



Most of the main story content is now written and complete, all the way to the ending. The post-game will feature a new ship (an ironclad vessel) which will act as an opportunity to travel under the world-oceans, up into the sky-ocean or even new continents! (for modded maps or future expansions)



As you can see, we've also been working on concepts for a 'wetsuit/spacesuit' for when the story brings our adventurers to the sky ocean (leading to the final encounter)

Our new programmer has been hammering out fix after fix, and many Q.O.L additions, such as 'buyback feature' from traders, quicksaving, and game balance changes.

I've been restructuring code for player modding purposes and drawing new sex scenes/concepts (Which I'll post WIPS to twitter soon, so be sure to Follow Us!)
