Are you tired of making dungeons themed around boring, commonly seen, monsters like goblins or dragons? Create a castle themed around an unusual creature with the KR Legendary Palaces - Harpy Tileset! Kokoro Reflections is back with another addition to their Legendary Palaces series, this time focusing their attention on half-man/half-bird harpies. Build a colorful castle with bright marble floors and copper art deco-inspired decorations!

Choose from copper, green, purple, and black marble to build your walls and floors. A poor harpy could get their talons caught in carpet, so those are wisely left out and replaced with simple and complex tiled designs to show important paths to your heroes. Large dark holes let harpies fly between floors, but make sure to use the included railings to keep your heroes from falling to their doom! Diagonal stairs help your heroes explore other floors filled with angled art and impressive statues of harpies in the castle, and to help them reach new heights you could also use the pack’s ladders to wander the different levels on a floor that harpies can easily fly to. Perhaps those ladders can lead your heroes to a magic circle that can send them straight to the demon king’s palace!

With this pack’s animated green and reddish-orange flames, you can light your heroes’ way to the throne room… Or the way to the treasure room, where copper containers can have their tops knocked off and the goodies inside taken. Just be aware that this move is certain to turn the harpies from friendly doves to furious raptors! This pack’s 20 tracks take a uncommon approach to background music, relying heavily on guitars, base, and drums over orchestral instruments to craft rock tunes that are a perfect fit for modern games. Bring a rocking club to life, explore dark alleys, and take on deadly gangs with this pack’s tracks!

Put your players on edge with the addition of a buzz to an electric rock song, warning them that there’s something not-quite-right about this building they’re exploring. Or create an underground rock club where your players can gather some intel that blasts electric guitar riffs and rhythmic vocals from the band on stage. When it’s time to fight for their lives, make sure your heroes have an appropriately rocking track! Pick one of the tracks with raging guitars or solid drum beats to keep the adrenaline pumping. And when it’s finally time to take a breather, let your players take a step into cold night air and watch the glowing neon signs that decorate the tall walls around them while calmer beats float out of a nearby restaurant’s door. Getting a consistent look over all the different graphical resources in your game can be a huge chore, especially when you aim for a clear and pixelated style, matching animations are hard to find. The second iteration of the Pixel Animation series fills this gap with 32 amazing and unique animations for your projects - no matter whether you use Ace, MV or MZ. With not only the sheet but also set up animations and instructions on how to import them they are as quick and easy to use as they can be and they look dashing at the same time!

You get eight different animations each for fire, water, wind and earth, allowing you to have a range of skills with distinct patterns! From softer blows and small tornados to water bubbles and fountains, there are a lot of cool tricks your heroes can pull off with these!

And if you go with a matching style for your sprites and tiles, many of the animations will look amazing on your maps as well, for cutscenes or you can pull out the burn animations for your typical RPG village getting burned down…

Sometimes the default resources just don’t match the tone of the game you are going for. This can especially be the case with the default character sets, as no matter how cute and well made they are, the 1:1 head to body ratio can look way too cute for the setting of your game.

The Sprite Height Modifier is an easy to use plugin that helps those out who want a shortcut to taller characters without reworking all the graphics! By adding it to your project and setting the ratio you are going for, the plugin automatically stretches everything below the head by the value you chose, giving the chance to choose the size that works for and looks best to you.

You can even go as far as using different ratios for different characters, allowing you to have characters of varying height in your game without any extra work! This also allows you to exclude chest and object sprites from being affected by the change. To have the adjusted sprites blend in even better, the plugin also affects the height of the bushes.

So if you ever considered having taller characters and were intimidated by the amount of work that goes into this change, maybe this is the route you want to go?

This week's release is special! Two complimentary packs that recreate monsters with the same names, but completely different designs! One for Front View, and one for Side View (Though many can be used for either!) So let's look at the P. KONEKO Monster Design Packs!

Give your players some new fearsome foes and enthralling enemies to battle against with two packs this week: P. KONEKO Monster Design FV and P. KONEKO Monster Design SV! Parabyo Koneko. created these packs using a painted style to bring some incredible enemy ideas to life. With 37 enemy types in each pack to choose from, get ready to battle against banana slugs (emphasis on the banana), moon-devouring wolves, and musicbox mimics in the FV pack and pink bunny slugs, demonic three-headed wolves, and a decidedly UN-happy meal burger mimic in the SV pack!

The FV and SV packs share the same naming conventions for each battler, but put their own spin on them! The FV dragon’s red scales and six-limbed design are reminiscent of European dragons while the SV dragon’s serpentine body bursts from the ground as its extra eyes search for its next meal. Have your fantasy heroes face off against the FV dullahan who wields a spinal cord whip from horseback, or send your heroes to a steampunk or more modern world with the SV dullahan who rides a magic-powered motorcycle! The FV and SV taur enemies switch which body parts are monstrous with the FV being a bull-headed minotaur and the SV a green-furred centaur, and even the most common of enemies, slimes, have their own unique looks! Battle the FV slime in the field where its bulbous body that holds a small heart inside can bounce along the ground, and find the SV slime (in an adorable gummy bear form) in a magician’s tower where it escaped the bottle where it had been imprisoned! With other enemies such as skeletons, fairies, merfolk, dragonewts, and even satan, you’ll be sure to find fitting foes for all over your game’s world!

Each battler comes in three sizes: normal for smaller resolutions or common mobs, big for larger resolutions and boss monsters, and the original size (which is the largest so that you can shrink them down to perfectly fit your battles). And if having three different sizes to choose from wasn’t enough, each pack also includes an arrangement folder where you can find each battler split into separate parts for its body, effects, and shadow so that you can tweak it to better fit your vision! Want to have an extra option where the FV mimic chest doesn’t have coins and drool spilling out of its mouth? Then leave off the effects image. Or show that you’re facing off against the SV lesser daemons high in the sky by removing their shadows! If you are lacking just the perfect parts to individualize your heroines, you have come to the right place! The sixth iteration of the heroine character generator part packs for MZ is here and it comes with a lot of goodies you won’t want to give a pass!

Dress your ladies into one of 20 different new base outfits and combine it with one or multiple of the twelve matching accessories to get just the perfect look. Maybe you want a nun, complete with vestment and matching veil to be the cleric of your party, or maybe you are aiming for a beautiful kimono girl with flowers in her hair.
