New DLC: KR Legendary Palaces - Golem Tileset, Heroine Character Generator 8 MZ

Release day! Two more packs are here to make sure your games look just the way you want them to! First up, we have a new Palace tileset ready to rock, and then we have more MZ generator parts for your heroines!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2009890/RPG_Maker_MZ__KR_Legendary_Palaces__Golem_Tileset/

Your heroes might just have wandered into something that looked like a cave from the outside, but what they found on the inside will leave them in awe. Here, underground, someone - or something? - has built a beautiful structure that looks like it could have been here since ancient times. The walls and floor seem to be mostly created out of the surrounding ground, shaped to form a place where someone or something reigned centuries ago.

Did a golem or a golem maker sit on this throne? And are those statues or golems that froze in place and waiting to be resurrected again? Stalactites have formed on some of the decorative elements since they were made, hanging down from gems and archways. What might lie hidden in the treasure chests your heroes can spot in the mysterious blue light that the torches emit? And is that murky water or floating sand that they see in giant basins and falls?

This palace surely does look like it was left a long time ago, but maybe something is still lurking around, ready to protect it… from adventurers like your party.

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2009900/RPG_Maker_MZ__Heroine_Character_Generator_8_for_MZ/

Being ready to battle is one thing, but looking dashing while fighting is another! With the Heroine Character Pack 8 for MZ you get plenty more outfits and design choices for your female party members, NPCs and antagonists!

From witchy parts for your magic driven characters to modern and eastern inspired parts, there are many new options you might want to try. Wrap your heroine in a super long sleeved dress to make her a mythical spellcaster or choose a nice jumpsuit with gloves for a fierce spy lady.

Or maybe you rather want her to be a cute girl with a fashionable dress with ruffles? You could round her design out with many different headpieces, and if you are in the mood you can place a little chick on her head. For more animal companions that are constantly with your heroine you also have a parrot which can be added on the shoulder!

And of course this pack doesn't just come with a whole load of new wardrobe items: with the fancy new hairdos and unique eyes you can add more character to your… well, characters! Innocent or feisty, the faces of a character should reflect their personalities, and with those five new pairs of eyes you have a whole new range unlocked!

Do you prefer open long flowing hair or pigtails? Well, you can have both and a combination now, plus two braided looks that are gorgeous! With the added five bangs ready to mix and match, there is no doubt you can create a beautiful heroine you will love!

New DLC: KR Legendary Palaces - Griffin Tileset, MT Trees

Thursday is here again, and we have two more Resource Packs ready for you to use for your game. Another new Palace Set from Kokoro Reflections and a whole lot of tree tiles from Mega Tiles!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/2001890/RPG_Maker_MZ__KR_Legendary_Palaces__Griffin_Tileset/

Let your players soar through the air to discover a castle in the sky with the KR Legendary Palaces - Griffin Tileset! Kokoro Reflections is here with another pack, this time creating gleaming tiles inspired by the regal griffin! Create incredible rooms of marble and gold, decorated with fitting statues and windows that any fan of griffins will love.

Build high walls of golden bricks atop animated clouds and let waterlily-filled waterways of bright blue or deep purple run next to marble paths. Create pits of spikes to keep your heroes from wandering too far from the action or use the spikes to create a puzzle where they need to climb ladders to find a new route. Large statues of gold griffins, wall hangings of pure white silk, and embossed wings can turn any castle room into a gorgeous location for your heroes to take a break from exploring. When they’re ready to move on once more, golden archways can help tell your heroes which paths are most important, with the arch decorated with pouncing griffins leading into the throneroom where the ruler sits on a dais covered in gold and emerald jewels.

Make sure your players can see the full glory of each room with golden flames illuminating the white marble walls, and reward them with gold-lidded treasure chests for exploring forgotten rooms in the palace. If you’ve been wanting to create a gilded castle in the sky or a surprising palace buried deep in the mountains, make sure to check out the KR Legendary Palaces - Griffin Tileset!

Do you be-leaf your maps could use more trees? Is the root of your map’s problems the lack of stumps and bushes? Then it’s time to find some fitting foliage with MT Trees! Mega Tiles new pack offers up a great selection of trees to help grow your forests and gardens.

The basic trees come in 3 different sizes so you can create areas with newer, smaller trees while the ancient dead locations contain thick-trunked leafless trees and old fallen logs. Give your forests healthy undergrowth with bushes, roots, and saplings that can also serve to keep your players from wandering off the intended path. If you want to make sure your players know your game takes place in spring, then grab the sakura trees with their soft pink foliage and dot your maps with them. Each tree comes in 5 different colors, so you can create an autumn feel with orange leaves or a magical forest full of blue-leafed trees without needing to edit anything.

Beyond the trees, this pack also includes extra plants such as cacti, snow-covered evergreens, and flowers to help bring other biomes to life! Let your heroes hop onto giant water lily pads to cross rivers, or create a dangerous garden of carnivorous plants that can’t wait to eat them. If you’ve been thinking that your outdoor maps have been looking a bit drab and lifeless, up your gardening game with MT Trees!

New DLC: Grid Map Tiles RPG Maker Edition, NPC Voices

This week, our releases feature a brand new gorgeous tileset, and some amazing English voice acting!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1967140/RPG_Maker_MZ__Grid_Map_Tiles__RPG_Maker_Edition/

If you ever wondered how you can fuse a grid based style and beautiful painterly assets into one perfect set of map assets, the Grid Map Tiles are all you need to see.

With enough tiles to create a full game in a fantastic medieval inspired setting there is not much left to ask for: the set even comes with day and night and winter versions for each outdoor sheet! There is so much to love about this set: from the creative and charming designs to the perfectly matching structures, each piece itself has its own beauty!

In a world built with these tiles, your heroes can explore various places: They can wander around on plains, admiring the large and detailed trees and the unique flowers and mushrooms, perhaps resting at the crystal clear water of a lake. But they could also enter a cave, natural or man made, maybe their quest led them into an abandoned mine? In the end they will get back to civilization, and there is so much to see here that they might not even want to go back adventuring!

The large selection of market stalls invite them to stay a little while, maybe they buy a giant swordfish, get their armor repaired at the blacksmith shop or just get some brand new armor from a different stall. After that they could visit the local castle, look for an inn to stay or visit some of the NPCs' homes. Whichever option it is, there is so much to explore, as each of the tilesets in this pack are crammed with carefully designed lovely details, from the optional fish to the little board next door where the inhabitants store their key and purse.

This whole description scratches the surface on what this amazing pack has to offer, so you better go check it out and see what else it has for you!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1993880/RPG_Maker_MZ__NPC_Voices/

Voices can add a lot more flavor to any game, but getting good voice actors can be difficult and pricey. With this amazing pack you get the work of six talented English language voice actors to implement them into your story!

The three male and female artists each recorded the lines for each archetype, giving you 6 variations of 6 different archetypes to choose from, allowiing you to choose the speaker for the role you consider the best fit for your story. That means it is up to you if you want the barkeeper to be female or the villager to be male. You could also decide to use all of them for the same type of character and have six voiced shopkeepers all with different voices! On top of the barkeeper, villager, and merchant lines: you also are provided for voices for guards, refugees and priests.

The writing and acting is on point, matching the different personalities and moods and creating believable characters that could inhabit your adventure! Being it a lone survivor of a burnt down village telling your party “If you leave me here, I will surely die” or the gentle cleric offering “Let me help you, just come this way”, the snippets are ready to bring some more depth and life to the interactions with your NPCs. Rounding out the whole pack is a nice collection of high resolution pictures to represent the various characters!

New DLC: KR Legendary Palaces - Harpy Tileset, Welcome to My Nightmare

For our first release day of May, we have another new KR Legendary Palaces set, and another fantastic music pack from ayato sound create!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1986740/RPG_Maker_MZ__KR_Legendary_Palaces__Harpy_Tileset/

Are you tired of making dungeons themed around boring, commonly seen, monsters like goblins or dragons? Create a castle themed around an unusual creature with the KR Legendary Palaces - Harpy Tileset! Kokoro Reflections is back with another addition to their Legendary Palaces series, this time focusing their attention on half-man/half-bird harpies. Build a colorful castle with bright marble floors and copper art deco-inspired decorations!

Choose from copper, green, purple, and black marble to build your walls and floors. A poor harpy could get their talons caught in carpet, so those are wisely left out and replaced with simple and complex tiled designs to show important paths to your heroes. Large dark holes let harpies fly between floors, but make sure to use the included railings to keep your heroes from falling to their doom! Diagonal stairs help your heroes explore other floors filled with angled art and impressive statues of harpies in the castle, and to help them reach new heights you could also use the pack’s ladders to wander the different levels on a floor that harpies can easily fly to. Perhaps those ladders can lead your heroes to a magic circle that can send them straight to the demon king’s palace!

With this pack’s animated green and reddish-orange flames, you can light your heroes’ way to the throne room… Or the way to the treasure room, where copper containers can have their tops knocked off and the goodies inside taken. Just be aware that this move is certain to turn the harpies from friendly doves to furious raptors! Build a unique castle or hideaway for your heroes to discover high in the mountains with the KR Legendary Palaces - Harpy Tileset!

https://store.steampowered.com/app/1986750/RPG_Maker_MZ__Welcome_to_My_Nightmare/

Give your rough and tough scenes some fitting rock music with Welcome to My Nightmare! This pack’s 20 tracks take a uncommon approach to background music, relying heavily on guitars, base, and drums over orchestral instruments to craft rock tunes that are a perfect fit for modern games. Bring a rocking club to life, explore dark alleys, and take on deadly gangs with this pack’s tracks!

Put your players on edge with the addition of a buzz to an electric rock song, warning them that there’s something not-quite-right about this building they’re exploring. Or create an underground rock club where your players can gather some intel that blasts electric guitar riffs and rhythmic vocals from the band on stage. When it’s time to fight for their lives, make sure your heroes have an appropriately rocking track! Pick one of the tracks with raging guitars or solid drum beats to keep the adrenaline pumping. And when it’s finally time to take a breather, let your players take a step into cold night air and watch the glowing neon signs that decorate the tall walls around them while calmer beats float out of a nearby restaurant’s door. Or grab one of the few tracks that forgoes guitars entirely and consist of a steady beat to help keep your players’ focus as they search an abandoned building for clues.

Each track comes in multiple formats so that you can easily add them into your favorite engine. So if your game has been begging for some rock songs or you’ve been searching for some guitar-heavy tracks to help set the mood in your modern cities, check out Welcome to My Nightmare!
