Holidays are around the corner and OhShape has just released a very special update to celebrate! The main course of this update is the first ever DLC “Electro Party”, a music pack that takes you into a wild party with upbeat electronic music, vibrant moving elements, and electricity. A lot of electricity! This new album features a dark environment that resembles an epic disco stage, something widely demanded by the OhShape community. The Electro Party music pack includes 8 new songs:

It has been almost one year since we left Early Access... And we can't believe how much OhShape has grown since that moment! Throughout this year we have enjoyed the company of a great community that has grown greatly and we have started many adventures.

We released the #StayHome challenge and we realised about the great potential of OhShape as a fitness game. We made 2 collaborations with Synth Riders (the Delight and Carry On songs), an unprecedented event within the VR games that brought our communities closer. We created a event system for special dates of the year, like the temporary Halloween mode.

On top of that, OhShape has been growing with new environments, songs and features extracted from the feedback of our players. Now we ask you to nominate OhShape for VR Game of the Year in the Steam Awards 2020.

The wind carries a weird and spooky voice... It says something about "born to win", but we aren't sure. There is a terrible storm in the horizon, it is approaching fast. The Sun has gone down, the neighborhood is being covered with a deep, thick mist and the lights of the streets are twinkling.

Run to your home, block out doors and windows, light some candles and plug in your VR headset. You may think OhShape isn't the perfect game for this time of the year, but you couldn't be more wrong. Now the selection screen of OhShape is covered with bats and ghosts, there are pumpkin coins everywhere and the red walls are marked by scary skulls.

There is even a deeper secret that you will have to find for yourselves...

Two of the most popular VR rhythm games of the moment are joining forces again in their second collaboration. After the success of the Delight Collab, OhShape and Synth Riders are launching a new free update for all players with the theme Carry On composed by F.O.O.L and published by Monstercat, an electro hit with cyberpunk vibes that will make you break a sweat with a the strong bass.

About one year ago on August 15, 2020, OhShape was released as an Early Access on Steam! During this time OhShape has grown with the updates and improvements thanks to the support and feedback from the community.

Aligned with this anniversary, we have been working in our Ice Planet update with content and features requested by players:

-New environment: a refreshing new stage based on an ice planet world. It will be the first of many more to come!

-Achievements: the most competitive players can now brag about their progress in the game with 20 achievements covering different difficulties, scores, playtime, distance covered...

-3 new songs: we have added 3 free songs to the third OhShape album, having a total of 31 official maps

-New onboarding screen: we now welcome new players more clearly and directly to make the first experience a very rewarding one!


We are very happy with the current state of OhShape, but we still have a lot of aces up our sleeves! More content, more features, customization and a few collaborations lined up for the next year makes us look forward to showing you all of it!
