Early Access Extension - 2022

Rune Knights Early Access will be extended until 2022. We will not be releasing in June 2021 as originally planned.

There are many improvements, fixes, and new content that I feel need to be added before Rune Knights can be considered a full release.

Apologies for the delay, here are pictures of my cat to help ease this blow.





Icewastes Visual Update, New Potion Indicator, Chain Lightning Fix

NEW
  • HUD Potion Indicator updated - now animated!
  • Icewastes Visual Update: New ground snow FX, featuring footprints! (Enemy updates for this zone will be included in an upcoming patch.)
  • Host Migration has been removed. This was causing some issues with normal multiplayer functionality.
BALANCE
  • Thunderbolt - Each chain from this ability will now proc on-hit effects.
  • Avatar of Lightning - Fixed these chains overwriting Thunderbolt chains.
FIXED
  • Savage Strike no longer incorrectly displays a 2H weapon requirement.
  • Skill descriptions for Avatar of Fire, Avatar of Lightning, and Avatar of Ice have been updated to reflect that the effects are inflicted on-hit, and not on any damage.
  • Divine Hammer - No longer incorrectly displays the Spell tag.

Fixes

Fixed being able to open sell menu while not at a vendor

Potential fix for Damage Over Time effects breaking player's Block

Potential fix for Damage Over Time effects still applying when successfully dodging the attack

Fixes

Added the Spell tag to Ice Knife.
Fixed Rapid Fire sometimes not having max charges when added.
Fixed temporary invulnerability being granted to the wrong character following resurrection.

Forest Update, Keybind and Inventory Fix

Added missing keybindings for Photo Mode and Gallery.

Updated tree models in Forest maps.

Fixed an inventory bug.
