BALANCE

Godcaller Rework - On Hit: 30% chance to summon a lightning bolt that deals an additional 30% damage.

Backstep Volley
  • Now fires concussive arrows which hitstun Normal enemies (Non-Elite and Non-Boss) in an area on impact.
  • Arrows are now fired quickly in succession instead of all at once.
  • Now increases Stamina cost by 30, up from 20.
  • Now backsteps from the direction the camera is facing instead of where your character is facing.
  • Fixed being able to interrupt itself.

Shield Charge: Damage area increased by 30% and is now affected by Catastrophic Impacts.

Explosive Arrow: Now hitstuns all non-CC Immune targets when fully charged.

Fireball
  • Damage increased from 150% to 175% Spell damage
  • Burn damage increased from 30% to 50% Spell damage per second
  • Fixed Burn duration being 2 seconds instead of 2.5 seconds as stated in the description.
Whirlwind
  • Now procs On-Hit Effects on every damage tick (this is a reversion from a recent experimental change).
  • Adjusted VFX size to more accurately reflect the damage area.
Ground Smash
  • When fully charged, applies a very long hitstun that pierces CC Immunity to all targets.
  • Max Stamina Cost increased from 150 to 200.
  • Knockback removed.
  • Now only usable with Axes and Maces.
Shatter Nova
  • Damage reduced from 150% to 100% spell damage.
  • Mana cost increased from 100 to 125.
IMPROVED
  • Skill descriptions are now shown by default in the shop.
  • Translations updated.
FIXES
  • Fixed an issue with Spire of Teurok spawning projectiles which dealt significantly more damage than intended.
  • Fixed some issues with stash tabs not working immediately after being bought.
  • Fixed Boons lingering after a player left or crashed.
  • Fixed an issue with Flame Dash where casting another spell during the dash would put that spell on cooldown without activating it.
  • Fixed Alchemist not being visible and not being removed.
  • Fixed Viscera, Runic Serration, the Ignite portion of Avatar of Fire, and the damage storing portion of Spellblade not benefiting from the damage bonuses of Bane, Verndari's Quill, or Strength of Zabaoth.
    • Dev Notes: Yeah that's a weird one.

Megara's Embrace Rebalance

Megara's Embrace Rebalance: On successful block, restore 10% of maximum mana. Amount restored is doubled on successful parry.
Dev notes: With the new tank changes, old Megara's could completely refill even large mana bars from any hit from a high level enemy.

Shield Throw mana cost increased from 75 to 125.

Clarified the descriptions of some block talents that only proc on successful blocks or parries.

Firefly Changes, Multiplayer Crash Fix, Other Fixes

BALANCE
Fireflies now have a random delay after spawning before they will start attacking (no less than 1.5 seconds)

Fireflies will now constantly turn to face their target (Makes it much easier to determine their aggro target)

FIXES
Fixed multiplayer sessions crashing any time a boss broke a destuctible (Co-op outside of Arena now playable again)

Fixed enemy projectiles not having impact VFX and SFX in some situations

Fixed a typo on the stats screen

Big Tanking Buffs, New Crafting Item, Whirlwind Changes, Fixes

New Crafting Item - Divine Will: Randomly rerolls the implicit mod of an item. Can include mods exclusive to other item types. New mod is guaranteed to be Legendary. Available from the Item Merchant for 10,000 gold.
TANKING CHANGES

Shield Charge
  • Damage increased from 15x to 20x your shield's implicit mod level.
  • Increased damage area.
  • Can now interrupt other abilities.
  • Now generates 500% threat.
  • Changed SFX to be less "ting" and more "crunch"
Shield Slam
  • Damage increased from 20x to 25x your shield's implicit mod level.
  • Increased damage area.
  • New, faster animation.
  • Threat generation increased from 200% to 300%.
Shield Melee
  • Now generates 300% threat.
  • Updated description to include that this attack has a 10% base chance to hitstun.
Shield Throw
  • Damage increased from 15x to 20x your shield's implicit mod level.
  • Now generates 1000% threat.
  • Cooldown reduced from 6 to 5 seconds.
  • Mana cost increased from 75 to 100
  • Fixed damage bonuses from Mighty Warrior and Precision Fighter not applying.
  • Shield Throw projectile speed increased by 50%
Block: Cooldown between block resets reduced from 0.75 to 0.3 seconds.
[h2]TALENTS[/h2]
Orias
  • Menace Rework: Gain 50% of Max Stamina as Max Health. All damage received is reduced by 20%. All threat generated is doubled.
  • Wardship of Orias: Now continuously taunts all enemies within 2000 range. No longer applies Taunt when dealing damage.
  • Heavy Shielding: Damage reduction bonus while blocking increased from 10% to 15%.
  • Stamina Potion: Your potion also replenishes 1/3 of your Maximum Stamina, or 1/2 of your Maximum Stamina if Health is full.
[h2]OTHER BALANCE CHANGES[/h2]
Whirlwind
  • Reduced damage tick rate by 50% (slower hits)
  • Increased damage from 50% to 100% combined weapon damage per tick.
  • Experimental: Whirlwind now only procs On-Hit effects every other damage tick. This is to help mitigate issues with network saturation.

Dev Notes: Overall this is a big shift for Whirlwind. Poison effectiveness is down significantly, and bleed effectiveness is down a bit, but Whirlwind will generate significantly more hitstuns regardless of equipped weapons or skills due to the larger hits, which should provide more survivability for Whirlwind overall.

Undying Will: Boon Intensity Effectiveness increased from 85% to 100%.
Reduced the sell value of equipment by 20%
Avatar skills no longer have their mana cost increased by Heightened Spell talents.

  • Stash now opens to Tab 1 by default.
  • The active stash tab is now highlighted.
  • Boss special attacks and projectiles can now destroy destructibles.
  • Destroyed trees are now removed faster.
  • Mystic Arrow: New Icon
  • 2H Melee Attack: Updated description to include that this attack has a 10%, 15%, or 20% base chance to hitstun based on weapon type.
  • Updated translations.
