Monster Train Arrives 21st of May!

Hi!

Just a few more days until we launch Monster Train. On the 21st of May at 10am Pacific Time the train will be arriving at your local Steam station.

Prepare for some awesome news, important updates and surprises in the coming days as you board.
If you're seeking a taste of the excitement now, check out the videos from Influencer Northern Lion who is doing a series sharing the game.

Twitch and Youtube are also filled with many other creative talents having a blast with Monster Train.

To prepare for the launch of the game we are taking down the demo. The final game is very different in terms of polish and full of community suggestions and improvements. Because of this, we're sorry to say the demo progress won't transfer to the launched game. HOWEVER, that's because it was only a slice of the fun you're about to see.

We are super excited to launch Monster Train this Thursday. Don’t forget to wishlist to be a part of the community and get updates first. See you soon on your way to Hell!

Monster Train Beta Ends - Please wishlist

Beta ends today - More important news soon!

We are ending the beta today, but we will be back soon with exciting news about Monster Train!

It has been amazing to see so many players enjoy the Beta and give feedback. All of this has helped us so much in making Monster Train better. All good things must come to an end, they say, but not for Monster Train. We will be back soon with exciting news.

You may get a message from Steam that we have revoked the key for Monster Train. This is part of the beta ending process.

First, please WISHLIST the game If you would like to keep updated on Monster Train. *Steam won't allow you both play Beta and wishlist so if you were in the beta, you haven't wishlisted yet!*

During the beta period we have continued developing the game into a better version. Based on your feedback we have made a lot of changes and improvements. We can't wait to show you how much we have improved the game.

Of course you can always tune in for the weekly stream on Twitch.

Beta Extended Until April 27th

Hello All,

We hope you're doing well staying safe at home. Spring and Easter are upon us which usually brings fun outdoor activities and family get-togethers. While that’s not happening, we’re thankful that video games are here to keep everyone from being bored and restless. Let’s play together!

We can do our part in using the tools we have, like the free Beta, and share something fun. This means we’re extending the Monster Train Beta until April 27th. Come get a key for yourself and your family in our Discord with a simple bot command.

We can’t thank you enough for all your support and feedback that have really made a difference in what the game has become. So jump in, play just for fun, and know that we’re all together Rushing Through Hell and trying to beat our own aunts and cousins who dare to challenge our best scores.

Have a great holiday and weekend and we can’t wait to show you the newer Shiny (hehe) version of the game at launch.

If you catch our weekly stream, it's been moved to today on Thursday 10AM PT/ 7PM CET/ 1PM ET on the Steam page or on Twitch.

Beta Date Extended

Hey Beta Players!

We hope you’re having a blast playing Monster Train. We’ve enjoyed seeing the screenshots, joking about clan names (Wax On Wax Off), Leaderboard gloating (Yes, Ai it’s you) and the community that’s been building in the Monster Train Discord . The ride is slated to end on March 19th but we’ve found that it feels like closing the Beta is closing the door on the connection we’ve built. During this time, it can feel like social distancing translates into digital distancing and that’s not what we’re about. Let’s keep the train rolling, the community together and extend the Beta until April 9th. With this in mind, we're emailing a complimentary Beta key for someone special so we can all continue to support our friends while lovingly decimating their score. Look for this on Friday.

We also thank those who have shared what they liked (and didn’t) about the game so far. We’re at patch 17 so you know we’re listening. Take two minutes to share with us here after jumping into the game. Let’s go!

Update: The screenshot challenge winners.

*UPDATE*

Hi All,

The voting has come to a close for the Screenshot Competition, which means we have not just one, not two, but three winners to congratulate. To start off with the highest score, Thanatos168 proved themselves to be one hell of a player with a score of 46232! Maybe you could train some of the other players and help them out in their runs?

The other two winners were thrown into a heated head to head bracket over the last few days with one winner coming out on top in each category.

The winner of the ‘Most Creative Party’ category is: Dos Equis. With a chunky party that would make any angel retreat back to the gates of heaven.

The winner of the ‘Most Tragic Moment’ is: Acceptable Losses. Their Imp army wasn’t able to beat Seraph, and with a long and sad “MEEEEEEEP!” they perished against him.

Congratulations again to all the winners, the Monster Train Soundtrack will be sent to you as soon as possible! Thanks for participating and we hope you all will keep posting screenshots of your runs on Steam as we always love to see what you’ve been up to in the game. See you in Hell!

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

You have done well fighting off the hordes of heavenly minions and defeating the mighty Seraph. We have seen a lot of great runs being sent in, but there can only be one winner. For the categories Most Creative Party and Most Tragic Moment, YOU will get to decide who wins.

As you can see our jury (ahem, our lovely interns) have made a careful selection. Now this selection will have to go through trial by fire, AKA your judgment. We’ll be starting off with the Most Creative Party.

Go to the Monster Train Discord and cast your vote on your favorite submission. Make sure you check the Discord tomorrow as well because you will be able to vote on the Most Tragic Moment!
