Coach Mode Update

Have you ever wanted to simply put down the gamepad and just play from the sidelines? Well... now you can with our all new Coach Mode! We've taken player control out of the equation and put the playbook in your hands!

Coach mode is a new setting you can toggle ON or OFF before a match begins. This new mode is available across all of our game modes and we've been having a fun time playing as the coach. We think it's really cool to manage your team and call plays to see if they can execute plays how you envisioned them inside the mind of a coach.

The setting can be found in the Settings > Gameplay menu and also on the Team Select screen by clicking the right trigger to show settings.

⚠️Please keep in mind when playing this mode you can only control up to 2 teams at a time. It doesn't work with multiple controllers per team, as only 1 player can call plays thus making additional controllers irrelevant.

Update Details

New Coach Mode available where you take control of play calling and let your team do the rest. The setting is located in the Gameplay section and can be switched on in the Team Select screen or Settings menu.
Fixed issue when catching a pass close to the top out of bounds line is not counting as a touchdown and instead places the ball at the 1 yard line.
Defenders now take better angle towards the goal line when targeting ball carrier who is close scoring a touchdown.

Small Patch Update

Hey everyone! Here's a small patch to fix some issues reported from our community. Have fun!

Fixed error which occurs during the kicking portion of the tutorial when using more than one gamepad.
Fixed issue where Legend Bowl logos and aircraft would appear on field when in conference championship game.
Fixed crash that would occur when reading the newspaper after a playoff game.
Fixed season schedule issue that would erroneously place teams in playoff week when last game of current week was still pending.
Fixed endless loop during playoff schedule where game would get stuck because the schedule was looking at the following week for a winner or loser but no games have been played yet.
New TACKLING help screen to better explain how to tackle on the field.

Small Patch Update

We've fixed a few things reported over the past few days and wanted to get them out as we go. So here's a light tune up! Enjoy!

Offensive lineman no longer catch the ball when falling to the ground.
Fixed Team Editor error caused by missing "field goal type" in data files.
Attempt to fix issue where QB stands frozen with arms reach out after snap.
Fixed crash that would occur during passing section of tutorial.
Added a couple of new talking lines to tutorial.

Friendly Update Patch #1

Hey folks! We have a new update to fix some reported issues with the recently released Friendly Update, along with a small surprise for those wanting more customizations in the game.

New vintage leather helmets and field goal posts included in this update!

Update Details

New vintage helmet option for players to wear leather helmets on field.
New old school vintage field goal posts added to team editor options.
New holiday field goal posts added to account for vintage version.
Vintage field goal posts moved up to their historical locations around the goaline with ball collisions and field goal rules applied.
Player numbered icon boundary margins cleaned up for better viewing when user controlled player is off screen.
Catches no longer counted as in bounds when player in air during catch along sidelines.
Player and coach facial hair mismatches resolved.
Fixed issue where defense couldn't call audibles.
Fixed issue where kickoff sequence would get stuck during the start of overtime.
Fixed pause game stats screen to display "Overtime" when it would previously say "Final".
Fixed Season team scoring not recording field goals and extra points properly, thus mismatching player stats vs team scores.
Resolved issue when all players for a certain position are injured you sometimes get less than 11 players in the play.
