Celebrating one year on Steam with a MINI NUKE!

To celebrate Hydroneer landing on Steam one year ago, we're releasing a mini-nuke!
It's an expensive, logic powered ultimate mining tool you can use to OBLITERATE your parcel of land.

We're still working really really really hard on Hydroneer multiplayer 2.0, which is still set to be released sometime this summer as a FREE UPDATE. (I'll let you know a release date as soon as it becomes available!) Here's some additional details that you might have missed about 2.0:
- Total rework of the entire codebase to bring massive optimizations (we've already seen gigantic improvements on our development version)
- Multiplayer
- Balances
- Graphical overhaul
- Creative mode
- & lots more!

Hydroneer Multiplayer is Coming!

Due to complications with development we are no longer developing true multiplayer, instead we're taking a splitscreen approach due to issues with physics engines. Dev Vlog:

Summarized:
- Online multiplayer to support 1-4 players

40 new items!
- Major game systems: Powerline and Logic system. Powerful items to have full customization over your base of operation.
- Hobson's Powerworks, the new Logic and Power store in Bridgepour.
- Three variations of Hand Carts used to transport items around your base easily. New players start with one by default.
- Itchy's Hand Cart store located in Bridgepour.
- Partial controller support.
- Ramped and triangle variations of the window block.
- New gameplay option to toggle whether to save raw resources. (iron ore/gold ore/shards/cloutium ore/uncut gems.)
- Stock market complete rework. Now behaves more realistically and saves.

Major Fixes
- Loading large saves has been given some optimisations.
- Game loading thread optimisations.
- Picking up items you're standing on no longer flings you into the air.
Construction Fixes
- Axes no longer occasionally fling into the air when being created on an anvil.
- Windows/poles will no longer block sunlight for growing plants.
- Fishing pot will no longer spawn fish above it.
- D.A.V.I.D. no longer plays audio when turned off.
- Left Conveyor Belt no longer flips its dial when being turned.
- Minor fix on Conveyor Belt Barrier collisions.
Tool Fixes
- Fishing rod/fishing pot no longer spawns fish worth nothing.
- Fishing rod no longer works if unpurchased.
Vehicle Fixes
- Improved truck technical stability.
Misc. Fixes
- Screenshot camera will now remove highlight from highlighted object when entering camera.
- Minor RAM optimisations.
- Various item name/description typo fixes.
- Minor sound fixes.

--- Changes
- Vehicle camera can now pan up and down.
- Durability items will now stop working at 0 durability instead of 25. They will decrease faster. Time from full health to completely broken remains the same.
- Increased protection to reduce items being placed under undiggable terrain.
- Iron, Gold, and Cloutium bar now smelt in a semi-hot state.
- Multiple resources hitting the floor/other objects will now sound much quieter.
- Added multiple items to be fully rotatable while building.
- UserData will now be saved to the Steam cloud, or locally if cloud is not available.
- The previous save slot will now be remembered when loading up the game.
- Various map changes.
Balances
- Fishing Pole catch time set to a larger range.
- Filter durability decreases slightly faster.
- Player can no longer sprint and move slower while holding the pallet, to balance carts.
- Improved Shovel will place a smaller amount of dirt.
