MAJOR CHANGES

World bugs fixes (Floating roads, Terrain over roads, Floating props, Props in middle of road)
Started the process of adding scenarios on a regular basis - starting with 5 today

Migration of player accounts on Playfab, the first step (of three) that was needed towards having a party system

HOTFIX 0.0.3.594 - Fixed Tornado Pick-Up Range

UPDATE 0.0.3.593 introduced a bug where tornadoes are picking up players on foot from very very far away.

HOTFIX 0.0.3.594 is fixing this single bug !

Tornadoes are still more dangerous on foot than before 0.0.3.593, but at least now you can watch, take pictures and report tornadoes from a safe distance again !

GENERAL

Updated game versioning convention
Updated tornado interactions with players, making tornadoes much less forgiving
Updated the terrain to be more forgiving when accidently swerving off the road
Disabled rev limiter on all vehicles to avoid car engines going crazy when going downhill
Fixed trash bins staying up in the air after getting affected by tornadoes
Rebalanced character customization prices

PERFORMANCE

Capped volumetric cloud's internal texture size to allow above 1080p resolutions to have better performance

VISUAL

Fixed issues with reflection probes reflecting headlights inside vehicles
Fixed headlight bouncing light, leading to purple lighting when in intense rain
Fixed rain drops and splashes reflecting lights too much
Made probe and local vehicle icons brighter

MULTIPLAYER

Reduced matchmaking maximum wait time from 3 minutes to 2 minutes

I was almost gleefully torn apart by a tornado in this janky but ambitious co-op storm chasing simulator




I don’t know a lot about meteorology. My local weather radar is a mostly frightening doohickey that I regard the way I assume Homo erectus might regard a quantum computer. Maybe that’s why after Outbrk’s tutorial told me how to identify the tell-tale, swirling “hook echo” pattern that marks a potential tornado, I was more psyched than worried to be met with a deadly calamity only meters away...
