Greetings pilots!

We’re excited to share that our first free major update for EVERSPACE 2 is coming October 2nd, 2023! The Armed & Dangerous update will be ready to download across PC and consoles on the same day, bringing new set items, catalysts, perks, quality of life improvements, Tier 4 ship wings, and more to the game.



Over the last few months we’ve shared sneak peeks at content the team has been working on during the weekly EVERSPACE 2 stream on YouTube and Twitch. Now, our Community Ambassador Erik has been given clearance to show it all off! Tune in Friday September 22nd to see all kinds of new, never seen before set items and item attributes, as well as a closer look at new perks for Khala and Tareen that introduce two much asked-for features to the game!

Here’s a high-level list content coming in the update:

We’re also excited to share that digital versions of the EVERSPACE 2 artbook and Official Soundtrack will be available to purchase on Steam and GOG October 2nd as well. Both of these offerings are SIZABLE—the artbook comes in at more than 280 pages of amazing concept goodness and Gero’s been rearranging and remixing in-game tracks to create a 30 track album of quintessential synthwave to groove to while exploring star systems. Dedicated fans will be able to buy the artbook and soundtrack as separate DLC or bundled together for a discount. Stay tuned for more!

It’s been a busy few months bringing EVERSPACE 2 to consoles, and it’s time to celebrate even more space fans around the globe being able to enjoy an exciting space adventure on their preferred platform. First a quick note about what’s coming for you all on Steam in October!



[h3]October Free Update & Coming Roadmap[/h3]
Later this fall, we’ll be releasing a substantial free update containing new set items, further customization options, and some QoL improvements. This update is planned to release simultaneously on PC and console platforms. We’ve revealed a few items coming in this update in our July Set Item Showcase stream and there’s plenty more to come!

This free update in October is not the end of our journey. We plan to release a roadmap regarding what our plans are between now and the massive EVERSPACE 2 expansion that is in production later this month along with a new accolades trailer. Keep your eyes peeled, we’ve got plenty of cool things coming in the years ahead!

After a hugely successful launch on PC, the wait is over for console EVERSPACE fans: EVERSPACE 2 is now available on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S platforms!

Xbox Game Pass fans take flight day one as EVERSPACE 2 comes to the service, giving tens of millions of space enthusiast subscribers around the globe the chance to blast off into the stars. Xbox fans on Series X will be able to enjoy 60 fps at 4K resolution, while Series S will be capped at 30 fps at 1440p. With Play Anywhere enabled, Microsoft Store players on PC will be able to shift over to their Xbox (or the other way around) and pick up where they left off.

On PlayStation 5, players get to experience EVERSPACE 2 in 60 fps at 4K resolution and also enjoy enhanced DualSense features with some very cool haptic feedback, adaptive trigger, and speaker features, tying gameplay with in-hand response. Read more on the PlayStation Blog!

This is a massive milestone for everyone here at ROCKFISH Games. As a team, we’ve been working diligently for the last six years bringing our dream game from prototype, to Kickstarter, through Early Access, a successful PC release, and now launch on Xbox and PlayStation. Our small crew of designers, programers, artists, writers, and support team members have banded together to create something truly special over the years—space games are back in a big way and we’re glad to be a part of the return of our favorite genre.

It feels like a long while since I strapped in for an adventure to the stars (last time it was with Elite Dangerous, and it turned out to be less of an adventure and more of a 'getting lost in the endless void of deep space').
