EVERSPACE™ 2 News

Microsoft has revealed a strong line-up of games coming to Xbox Game Pass over the remainder of October. As always, first-party Microsoft projects will launch into the service, as well as the usual assortment of indie and AAA projects.

The releases begin today, with Outriders arriving on PC Game Pass, alongside indie retro FPS Into the Pit, which arrives on PC, console and Cloud.

October 21 sees the release of three games. Dragon Ball FighterZ arrives on console and Cloud Game Pass. Indie turn-based adventure Echo Generation launches into Game Pass on PC, console and Cloud. The excellent space shooter Everspace 2 also drops on PC Game Pass on the same day.

The Steam exclusive experimental release of the 3rd EVERSPACE 2 content update is scheduled for October 22nd with the official release dropping on Steam and GOG on November 3rd.

Everspace 2 developer Rockfish has dropped a nice surprise for players on the fence about its excellent space shooter. A new demo has been released on Steam, offering a fairly sizeable amount of content.

All content in the demo is based on the game's most recent Early Access update, which added a new star system, new companion, new ship and more.

The Everspace 2 demo includes the game's first five main missions, as well as two side missions. Because you'll have access to the entirety of the first sector of the Ceto system, you'll also come across a number of random encounters and secrets.
