Ember Knights News

The following guide will walk you through the steps to play with your friends!
Please note, Ember Knights will have full online multiplayer support for Early Access!

Step 1: Install and launch the Ember Knights Combat Demo! Note, only the host needs the game installed.

Step 2: From the Main Menu, open the Steam Overlay and invite your friend.



With the game running, open the Steam Overlay (SHIFT+TAB).

From the Friends menu, right click on the friend you’d like to invite and select Remote Play Together.

Step 3: Confirm the joining player’s settings.



Step 4 (Optional): Invite up to 2 more friends.

Step 5: Close the Steam Overlay and select Play!



Have your friend join on the player select screen and you’re ready to go!

We have big news to share with everyone! We're making a demo!

For the next couple of months, we'll be working hard on making your first experience with Ember Knights something exciting and memorable! We're planning to have the demo ready for April and we'll be sharing more details along the way!

We're extremely excited to finally reveal our new name, Ember Knights! We've wanted to change the name for quite some time but found it incredibly difficult coming up with a worthy replacement.



When thinking about a name, there are so many things to consider. Has it already been used? Is it a variation of something else? Does it accurately represent the game? Will players like it?

It's no exaggeration to say, we've been thinking about it for months. Of course, we've shelved it at times to focus on other things but our previous name never sat well with us. It was a working title that ended up lingering.

Not only did we want a new name but we also wanted to tell a more compelling story.



We love what we've come up with and we hope you will too!

We're running our first round of pre-alpha testing and we need you!

Those selected to participate will be asked to:

• play a minimum amount of time for the duration of the testing period (1 week)
  
• participate in at least one video play session with us via Zoom, Discord, etc.
  
• provide feedback during and at the conclusion of the testing period via private Discord channel
  
• sign a confidentiality agreement
